  • This video is for logitech support to see that my G903 mouse is registering multiple clicks on a single press. This is after I followed their guide on what to do if the mouse is having these issues.
This is what I have done.
To start our troubleshooting, please complete the following:
    • Connect the device directly to the computer motherboard. Bypass any type of USB adapter, hub or extender
    • Update the device's firmware
Download and install Logitech G-Hub (Available here: support.logite...)
Launch the software, select the mouse from the home screen then go to Settings
If a firmware update is available, a Blue ""Update"" button would appear under the firmware version on the top right corner of the screen
    • Test the device without the software. Stop Logitech Gaming Software or G-Hub from running in the background by closing them on the System Tray and Task Manager
On the lower right hand corner of the screen, on the left side of the Date and Time, right click on the G icon and select Exit
Launch Task Manager (Alt + Ctrl + Del) then look for Lghub or Lcore under Processes Tab. Then, right click on it and select Stop Process
    • Assign a different command to the button
Using Logitech Gaming Software or G-Hub, select the mouse from the home screen then select Commands Tab
Try to assign another command to the button or swap the command in between buttons that are working and non-working
Another option is to try using the mouse while the Logitech software is not installed
    • Adjust double click sensitivity
    Open Control Panel
    Select Mouse
    Go to Buttons Tab
Under Double Click Speed, move the slider to Fast
    Click Apply then OK
    • Clean the button with compressed can of air
    • Uninstall, reload mouse driver
Right click on Windows or Start button and select Device Manager
Under Human Interface Device, look for Logitech Virtual G-Hub Mouse
Right click on it, select Uninstall
Disconnect the mouse from the computer
    Restart the computer
Reconnect device back to the computer and test
    • Use the website below to verify/confirm Double Clicking
    Go to codepen.io/nfx...
Capture/Record a video while doing the troubleshooting
Video needs to show the website on the screen and the mouse
    Register at least 100 clicks
The website will indicate if there are double clicks
Note: This is a third party site that is used by customers world wide to verify double clicking issues.
Note: Logitech does not bear any responsibility for anything that might happen upon using the site.
    • Try on another computer
After all this, the mouse still registers multiple clicks on single presses even when connecting the mouse to a completely different computer and OS.

I had the same problem. I think I just fixed it. I even downloaded that G-Hub and made an update but that did not help... I tried "adjust double click sensitivity" - Nothing with the first try. YEEES, FINALLY, IT WORKS! Guys the problem was that I did not put that sensitivity to MAX FAST. Quickfix: winkey+i > devices > mouse > Additional mouse options (on right side) put it to max FAST. Just make sure to put it on max FAST, not slow - apply and OK.

I see G903 mouse clicker boards available on ebay, looks like it can be replaced by screws and wire connector, will try to take it apart and see if it can be simply switched out

Well I did have Logitech replace the mouse with a other G903... Now less than 2 months with the replacement mouse, it is also starting to multiclick. I'll raise another ticket with Logitech and see what they will do.

So the double click is intermittent? My G903 has started to it but it is rare. I cry errrtim. Will they eventually double click all the time?

Im having the same issue with G903 , you can actually detect sound in left button when clicking its more flimsy and sort of crackle every few clicks when compared to right button which is normally used less and has more solid clicks. Ive used many Logitech mice all different kinds and price range, never had this issue, G903 is the most expensive mouse by far and only lasted just over a year of casual use, never again Logitech

Ugh. I used to trust Logitech. I've had two of these mice (first one sent back to Amazon for this issue) and they both show this issue. My second mouse took 9 months, but it's now starting to be unusable because of this. My first one took 2 months to show this issue. This happened with my other Logitech MX models, too. Really aggravating.

Logitech was able to replace mine with a brand new one with their warranty. They will need you to make a video like this showing the click issues.

@@NateHancock Was your mouse in warranty? I had mine since launch and started experiencing same issue this month so it's way out of warranty. Thanks.

Mines in warranty but I've heard horror stories from getting the warranty done. Poor support and a long wait for mouse to come back.

Whoever still have this problem leave the mouse powered on but not wired over night it worked for me I think using is while plugged in may create that problem. I have no idea but I was trying to drain the battery overnight but no more double click the next morning.

I had the similar issue and thanks god your solution also worked for me! I saw in somewhere else draining the battery helps remove the static accumulated in the mouse which causes the double click issue, but I know nothing about electronics so I'm not sure.
