It's insane to think that we almost lost him in a plane crash. He's always been my all time favorite. I've seen him 5 or 6 times in concert, and hopefully will again this summer! Adore his humor, too. One concert, there was a terrible thunderstorm happening, and the power went out about 4 different times during Hot Legs. Finally, the last time the power came back on, he sat on the edge of the stage and prayed. He said "Lord, I get that this probably isn't your favorite song of mine, but these nice people came to hear me sing. If you could, we'd love it if the power stayed on this time. " It did. He ended up performing an extra hour+ to make up for it. He's always been #1 for me!
