Was the Lookout on duty? Our local Lookout at Robinson Flat, Ca is occupied by trained Lookouts who can give you a interesting roundup of their duties, the equipment for the spotting and calling in of the fire, and notable historic facts on the construction and what you can see from the Lookout.
600 foot drop
Its actually a 600 ft. Drop
Oh it’s a marmot.
This video came up on a recommendation. Look at that young guy....with all that fuzz under his chin. LOL
Haha this is an old one that you found 😂
I Was planning a dual sport trip with a couple friends up there, any chance you know when the snow melts/won't interfere with the ride?
tried doing this hike a month ago but there was too much snow and I don't think we took the right trail to begin with. We ended up at the top of a mountain very far from the lookout right where to trail disappeared under a good 4 or 5 feet of snow.
+Carly Beard Wow that sounds like an intense adventure. I think the road may close in the winter to get to the trailhead.
I'm curious as well how long the snow will be up there?
I'm going to try this hike again but keep getting conflicting reports on where the trailhead is. Did you find it on the east side by the lake or the west side?
