Great video. Could you possibly do a video on Wrecking Ball, Slobber Tooth, and Gusto? All 3 of them are able to eat enemies. Skylands’ gluttonous guardians, if you will
I think another reason for Voodood’s story being darker than everybody else’s is to explain why we see no other orcs in Skylanders. I mean, goblins, trolls, and orcs are insanely popular fantasy races of which two of them have never or barely been touched. Maybe Voodood was one of those weird cases wherein a skylanders species isn’t very widespread, so losing them in a tragedy like this wiped them out permanently.
aight I got to get back to fact checking these, hello again everyone I'm the Lore Goblin and today I wanna set some things straight 0:20 it's not that all elements *could* exist within it, every element already has its basis in Magic, without Magic there wouldn't be Skylands and any of the elements, it is the first and possibly the most powerful of the elements, it even went as far as the Eternal Magic Source being mentioned to be the literal starting point of all creation 2:10 "a rare plant known as the Whispering Water Lily"... "a rare fruit"... a Lily isn't a fruit, it was a flower, a very rare flower 4:46 it's an axe, not a staff, it's literally called the Axe Reaver, it's simply a two handed axe 4:53 there just might be, in one of the books (the Complete Collection specifically) it's mentioned that he has a nice collection of bones, and seeing how he constantly wears one as a trophy and piece of armour, it seems bones in general had a great impact on his culture, and despite not being that known about the practice of voodoo can involve using bones of multiple kinds (I think mostly chicken bones but I'm not sure) 5:55 it is just called the Cave of Trials, the "trouser-wettingly terrifying part" is just to paint a picture that the Cave was scary but not actually part of the name 6:58 it wasn't a fatal mistake, for all intents and purposes the Ooga Tribe won, at a tremendous cost but they did what they all trained to do, they knew exactly what they were getting into, they stopped the wild dragons and the Darkness it seems, or at least took down a great number of them with them, and I just want to here give the context you likely don't know about first off, Voodood wasn't made into the leader of the Oogas just because, the Axe Reaver is said to empower what is already within, aka Voodood would've become a great and possibly best warrior regardless but the Axe made him surpass that, second off, he himself lead his tribe against the Darkness, and the battle itself lasted a 100 nights (while strangely only 37 days), and it involved the Ooga Warriors fighting thousands of beasts/wild dragons. Each warrior was already great on their own, maybe not Skylander great but they weren't your average Gillman or Frost Guard, and each played a role in battling the Darkness, but none so much as Voodood himself, as he alone took down twice the amount of dragons his entire tribe was able to take down, with the Axe Reaver pretty much having a mind of it's own during the battle, a great warrior and a great weapon so yeah, the Ooga Warriors took tremendous losses, but the Darkness was defeated or at least weakened that day, even if there's only one warrior left to tell that tale, and even if only temporarily and we know exactly how Voodood survived, the Ooga Warriors were already some of the best in Skylands, and Voodood was by far the best of the Oogas 7:15 he did want to fight tho, otherwise he wouldn't have joined the Skylanders, Eon invited him or he approached Eon pretty much just after the battle was over, he joined them to fight for what's right, he's committed to fighting the Darkness, especially considering it was responsible for the death of his tribe, the Complete Collection goes as far as to say he vowed revenge, still point is he didn't just start sulking defeated, he is probably one of the greatest warriors in Skylands, so of course he'd join its greatest protectors 8:24 plenty of backstories changed from Spyro's Kingdom when it became Skylanders, and tbh I'm not even sure if Voodood was even part of that original roster, Ghost Roaster and Boomer were in a way, sure, but Voodood wasn't confirmed to be that way, still looking at Boomer for an obvious example back when he was Bomb Troll his entire personality was more grumpy and a lot less energetic, that backstory involved Bomb Troll being banished from the Troll Army after not honouring their once a year tradition where the trolls can't blow anything up for an entire day (fun fact this particular part of the lore, the troll holiday where they stop using explosives for a day, survived in one of the Annuals even when Boomer's backstory changed entirely) not a point in the video but another fun fact, Voodood also had a short story in the Book of Magic and Tech, where he found a piece of the gemstone that housed the Axe Reaver years prior, and gave it to Master Eon for safekeeping as it could prove useful in battling the forces of Darkness 11:53 he also made a major appearance in the Time Twisters book, where he was technically part of the main cast of Skylanders and was responsible for for instance contacting every individual animal in Skylands at once telephatically when searching for Kaos, Zoo Lou became a bit overpowered in lore lol 12:13 the reason he's part of the Life element is because he's a frickin shaman, his entire motivation is communicating with nature and it's inhabitants, again going back to Time Twisters he can literally call upon all animals in Skylands at once, he's not just a random magic user he genuinely cares for nature (hell his battle cry is "Nature Calls" for crying out loud), and literally uses nature in his fighting, he summons spirits of animals to fight by his side
Welp…R.I.P the warrior themed video. There’s probably not enough skylanders who are labeled as warriors now. The only ones I know are warriors still include Chop Chop & Hammer Slam Bowser.
Good video! I've got an idea for a Insanely complex history, the history of the skylander Barbella and the villain Gulper; you can call it the Insanely complex history of skylands' Fit vs Fat battle.
@@Kidwithacat1 Great idea. I pick Gulper because he was a part of Barbella's backstory, but Gusto is a great choice too. We could have both of them in the video also.
Hey, I'm getting back into Skylanders and haven't gotten to the extended media yet. Would you be able to give more info on the "rules" of the Skylanders, as I haven't really heard of them before, and hearing the have a no kill rule (in a franchise that I don't think ever implies death in the main games) shocked me a bit
Wilikin: we have hodo and have Voodoos. Me: you mean voodoo? Wilikin: I’m sorry, it has appeared that I had stuttered. We have voodood hats, plushes, shoes, body pillows- Me: *SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY!*

Series 2 Double Trouble is one of my all-time top ten
I've got another idea, how about you do a video about buff and ripped skylanders?
Barbella, Kaboom and Smash hit?
Lightning Rod is also a skylander that is buff and ripped; he could be an option.
Lol, I love the "and Voodood" part of the title
Also dang, I forgot how brutal Voodood's backstory is compared to other Skylanders!
0:25 yes, magic is the combinaison between elements, not to be mistook for blank which is all the 8 elements combined at exactly the same point
aight I got to get back to fact checking these, hello again everyone I'm the Lore Goblin and today I wanna set some things straight

Just imagining the beating of their lifetime is a halirous thought. Thank you for the great video. Hope you have a great day or night
Thanks for another vid of one of my suggestions. Sorry if my constant requests are annoying.

When double trouble duplicates I think it’s similar to sonic boom
