Ah come on. The R5 Turbo, which this EV is inspired by, was not a lame car at all. The basic R5 was a cheap and cheerful car but Renault is trying to reduce the cost of EVs to levels where normal people can actually afford to buy them, so that part of the R5 is surely a good thing? I really like the look of this and I was a "Golf man" in the 90's but who can resist a small French car? Can't wait to see the interior....hope Renault uses the Google operating system on this car like the Megane and Scenic.

The Renault 5 was released in 1972 not in the 80s. It is just as iconic as the Austin Mini or the Volkswagen Golf and with almost 10 million copies, it sold twice as much as the mini.
Yes 70's and 80's. When they have real cars and you could tell the difference between a woman and a man. Cars these days are boring and the most are ugly asf. They look almost all the same. Like all woman and man these days..... please have some respect for renault that hey bring a classic back to life.
