Sounds great an you did a fine job recording this great capture thank you again
Thank you Wade. What a performance that was! I love the differences between Jamey’s voice and Lukas’ voice. This is a masterpiece! I sometimes find myself watching this performance 5 times in a row
Just watched the original, came back to ensure I didn't even notice the lack of any harmonica when I saw this tour. Amazing
Paul Butterfield played harp in the first one with THE BAND, Dylan, DR. JOHN, the Hawk, Emmylou, both Neils, Muddy Waters, Eric and other fantastic musicians.
INCREDIBLE.....Thanks for posting,,,,,Love it,,,
I love this! I hope I can make it to see this show 💛💛💛💛💛
Please don't let me down
Jamey looks like he could wrestle a bear..and win
Beautiful, best capture of this tour I can find. I assume this is the new iPhone and the quality is sick. It's going to put people like me (with a camcorder/external mic rig that's tricky to get in and often gets me busted or thrown out) out of business! But there's so much more to it: getting the right spot, holding the camera steady for long periods, organizing, labeling, uploading everything promptly for the fans, etc. I saw that "Highwomen" from Newport, that came out nice huh. Look forward to checking out more of Newport and your other stuff. Great work.
btragal Awww, what very kind words, btragel. Yes , iPhone11Pro. I checked out your videos too and they’re great. (Especially love the Mark Knophler). Well, these are practically my favorite artists and all I hope to do is to capture a glimpse of their greatness in my non-professional videos. Thank you so much for viewing and all of your incredibly positive comments, and please continue to stay in touch.
@@AmyKaribian I think the new iPhone has noticeably better audio. I had to shoot LW with my 6sPlus, pales in comparison. I read a detailed article in a publication called DXOMARK explaining how they do it. 2 tiny microphones recording in all directions, constantly evaluating and processing for optimal sound, never distorting. It's the huge amount of computing power in a high-end phone and it's remarkable. Of course you're always in the front row too :) Love the 1080p 30fps image you're getting, have you tried 4K? I know the files are big.
@@btragal Yes, the 11Pro seems to have pretty good audio, but I think it mostly depends on the sound system at the venue, and how the musicians are playing -- for instance, my videos of Sturgill Simpson at the Stone Pony last month have pretty poor audio quality. I am thinking of buying a small Shure microphone --- what are your thoughts? Also, the clarity of the picture depends a lot on the lighting at the venue. Again, at Stone Pony, I could not capture any clear images -- there was a red light glaring right into my camera during the entire show. I haven't experimented with 4k yet -- my concern is that I may not be able to upload the files onto RUclips -- but I know I should try to shoot at least one video in each of the other settings.
@@AmyKaribian Why not try a couple in 4K, for posterity. If people are watching on phones it won't matter but on a large 4K monitor you'll see the difference. Yes YT happily accepts 4K as long as it's below 120 GB (lol), but it'll first appear quickly in 1080, then take several hours (sometimes overnight) to process to 4K. I'll get back on the Shure mic and lighting issues - interesting questions. [If all this is too technical for the fans, you can delete it, but I enjoy discussing with a fellow hobbyist - you've come a long way quickly, as you promised haha - it's some of the best audience video out there IMHO]
btragal Interesting info, thank you! I will certainly test the 4k setting- I have 3 shows coming up in December, on the 7th, 10th and 12th. Thank you so much for the tech advice - I am 100% tech unsavy, so any info you can offer me is 100% appreciated.
