Love it but, how do I upgrade to color..

I just got mine yesterday.
And there's an update where you don't pair with WearOs app but with the Fossil App.
I noticed that the gestures are gone, swipe to the left side doesn't have that Google assistant anymore, no Google fit, etc.
Could you do a review and guide through these new things???
Wish they'd release the gen 7 already...i want a nice looking watch to go with my new iphone 15 that can also track some fitness stuff.

I have a gen 5. Battery longevity and google fit are the two reason I will not be upgrading to the 6. At first with aod on and lift to wake off I got 17 hours of battery life. 3 years later it's down to 4. Also Google fit is unacceptable, they really need to get with the times.
Absolutely right. Using it for more than a year now and its just a stylish watch where you can only connect for emergency calls and to read messages without looking at your phone. That’s all it. Others are not so accurate even the steps doesn’t even count sometimes. If you want something accurate and techy, this watch is not fornyou, but if you just want a stylish and you only need is phone calls and read txt msgs then this might work. The battery only last for a day and you have to charge it before the end of the day if you want to use it again. It could last for 2days if you turn off everything and keep the display off
Two days when screen is off? I dont get 2 days out of it and always on screen is off. I guess my battery is not good anymore
thanks for this, I was just about to pull the trigger and try to upgrade my tozo s2 but I'm not too keen on having to charge it everyday. I need a watch that tracks my sleeping, steps, and bpm 24/7 all while looking as stylish as a traditional watch. oh well guess I'll keep looking.
not sure if you're still looking, but I just got my withings scanwatch yesterday and honestly it fits the criteria's you mentioned. It's stylish and as close to a traditional watch as you can get, all while being able to track your steps, sleeping and bpm 24/7 as this watch can probably get you through 30 days. It's still early days for me but I've looked around countlessly before making the decision so I'm hoping this is as good as I'm hoping it to be.

I miss the original ui but not the laggyness I used to get, but the crown on my watch doesn't want to work the scrolling works but not the button to go to all apps and the home screen =/

No. It's running Google Assistant again. They fixed it!🎉
I use the it along with my IPhone 13 Pro Max.
Wear OS app is not compatible after the watch is updated to Wear OS 3. It connects only with Fossil Smartwatch app, which I am not happy with.
Have not seen options for Map and Wallet. Not sure if it’s an iOS thing.

I bought one today. After updating the OS, my watch flashed starting. I'm a bit frustrated it does the same on my son's watch. I bought 2 today, and it does the same.

regretted buying this. google assistant is not available after wear os update, notifications always not functioning. poor coordination with phone and lack fo useful functions

Why would you want this if you have an iPhone? The Apple Watch will give you 100x more functionality with your watch and will generally be a better overall experience.

@@ChrisPrieto Yeah bro! I am using my FG6 again. My GPW is in my desk drawer. Haptics feels a little better on the GPW, but it's not a big deal! I hope Fossil launches the FG7. Although Google is the owner of the smartwatch division of Fossil!🤷🏽♂️

My fossil gen 6 do not receive incoming call.
It received the first two call, but later on, it doesn't receive incoming call anymore, but still i can make call from my watch..
There's no problem with making calls, receving messages, whatsapp messages, notification and all that..
Can you please help me
