Totally agree, that site looked awesome.. although I was surprised you didn’t go for the trifecta… boat+fishing+beer on the boat whilst fishing 😅
We’ve been to Castle Acre, not the priory ruins bit, the castle bit and it was one of the best I’ve ever seen, yes you need to use your imagination, but the earthworks were awesome.

I absolutely loved this site 😂 yeah I did think about having a beer on the boat while fishing. The priory is fantastic I’d definitely recommend visiting next time you are in the area. PS forgive me but I had to Google the pork red meat thing and I am in shock 🤣 I can’ believe it’s a red meat after all these years I was wrong 😂
