    *I like the features of the LED light on both the drill and the **MyBest.Tools** . I also like the contractor bag where I carry drill bits and driver attachments. So far the batteries hold charges to my satisfaction.*

    WOW....Once I started working with Impact drivers 2 years ago I gave the hammer drill a rest. Every now and then I use the drill , but the impact driver is the ruler of my cordless toys..

    I'm late to this video but not the hitachi triple hammer ! Still in 2019 it is the best cordless impact made bar none , I build many decks in summer and sink thousands of screws and lags with this tool...has never ever failed me once in the two years I have owned it and worked it to death ! An absolutely fantastic workhorse of a tool that no other brand can top..not one and I have used them all from Big red and big yellow to ridgid etc ..I'm such a fan of this tool ! It has made me thousands of dollars ! Still works as new ...Hitachi nailed this impact ..the one all others should be judged against ! Metabo is now branding it but still the same exact tool, perfection in every way and a real sleeper no one talks about! And that case ! I love it ! Keep all my bits and nut drivers in there etc ..just an all around amazing package !

    Hitachi raised the bar with this tool. It is number one in numerous tool shootout tests.

    The impact driver has surpassed the drill in my opinion, and become the number one tool every professional must have. This is a fine example. The triple hammer anvil is awesome. The Ip65 rating is impressive, and I love the case it comes with. Very nice!#tiacrew (but workshop addict is my second favorite!)

    I like the IP65 rating. The rest of it is nice too, but it's nice to know you don't have to worry if you get stuck out in the rain and this is the last toll to get picked up.

      or you forget it on the job and it rains overnight!

    • @HealthIsPower

      However, the battery is not covered by the IP56 rating. So if you leave it out in the rain, you may need a new battery.

      Milwaukee leads in innovation, they always come out on top of the competition (dewalt, makita, rigid) and very few brands such as Hilti beat Milwaukee

    • @greenskiis
      @greenskiis 8 лет назад +2

      That's very debatable, to say the least. Like it or not, Hitachi made the best impact on the market and it isn't close. Also, if you want to talk about innovation, DeWalt's FlexVolt is the most innovative platform on the cordless tool market since lithium ion batteries.

    you guys should look at doing a video comparison of this drill as well as the new Milwaukee surge and a standard brushless impact to see the overall differences between them. maybe even throw in the ridgid stealth drive. great review keep them coming please!

      The Stealth Force and Surge has been thought about. They are two tools with two different uses. Surge is for finesse, Stealth force is not smooth but fast. This tool is smooth, fast, but has finesse.

    I've had the 18v hitachi impact driver with the brushed motor for2 years now and have had zero problems with it. All my co-workers have made fun of this for 2 years now and I've watched their DeWalt and Milwaukee shit break and lose their strength. Another plus is that The mentioned brands( DeWalt and Milwaukee) everyone on the jobsite has and end up getting stolen. I rarely see hitachi on a jobsite.

    Been wondering if there any power difference between the metabo hpt 18v triple hammer and the metabo hpt 36v triple hammer other then the 36v multi volt batteries and being able to use the 120v to 36v wall adapter @WorkshopAddict

    • @baseballdude8491
      @baseballdude8491 3 года назад

      The 36V is a little more powerful but the 18V is plenty powerful for what u use an impact driver for
      The other 36V tools are significantly more powerful on 36V line such as Hammer Drill, recip saw, circular saw, grinder, portable band saw, and it works well in 10" table saw and mitre saw as well
      And the whole 36V line can be plugged into AC adapter

    How does this compare to the Ridgid Stealth impact driver?

    • @WorkshopAddict
      @WorkshopAddict  7 лет назад

      HUGE differences. First, the Ridgid SF has large pulses that will twist your wrist more when going fast. Think about it as large and slow impacts. The Hitachi has very fast and short impacts so your wrist and arm do not feel the pressure. Long term there is no doubt that the Hitachi will leave you feeling more comfortable. They may be close to the same speed in sinking a lag bolt.

    I was thinking of buying the dewalt DCF887, does anyone have an opinion as to whether this hitachi is more powerful? Ideally want to stay with the dewalt as I love my nailer and have all the batteries etc

    • @sksinha1
      @sksinha1 8 лет назад

      p web If you already have all the batteries, go with the Dewalt. I just bought the DCF887 and I love it, and believe me it's got more than enough power. Maybe the Hitachi is better, but you can't go wrong with Dewalt. Something better is always coming out.

    i think id rather a 2 hammer impact, more jam out of each punch... the ip65 rating is really cool though i was the more popular brands in north american would start coming out with gear tested in water and dust.. no reason why every tool couldnt be brought up to ip65 or higher

      so I went to a distant Lowes today looking for some hard to find Bosch stuff and I saw this triple hammer on clearance for 143$. Almost passed it up but I plan on buying into Hitachi for the nailers so I figured why not and went back for it for the batteries and charger. Bonus of a highly praised driver. So when I checked out, it rang up at 53$... Complete and total score... I’m checking it out now and am honestly blown away at the quality of feel this driver has. I have drills and drivers of every brand except Dewalt and this thing has the quality that I’ve fallen in love with in Makita. This Hitachi almost feels even nicer yet but I can’t wait to put it to some use. Just can’t believe there’s no charge indicator on the batteries.

      @Dabby724 7 лет назад

      even though the tool isn't meant for such jobs milwaukee's impact driver can actually remove nuts (extra tight or rusted shown from tons of videos on youtube). So it's safe to assume that Milwaukee's m18 fuel impact driver is more powerful than the triple hammer Hitach impact driver?
