Every socialist country should have The Internationale as its second anthem alongside the national anthem. Wish the USSR kept it together with the new one (which was, of course, epic in its own right)
As a fellow Georgian, I understand exactly where his mother was coming from. It's a little hard to explain, though. Georgian mothers are very worrying and overprotective of their children. They do want them to succeed in life and accomplish great things, but they also feel the risk and the exposure that comes with it and they want to shield you from it. They want you to succeed but they won't feel too happy if your success is so big that you become exposed to things like slander, smear campaigns and assassination attempts like Stalin was (not to mention the very real (at the time) dangers of being a professional revolutionary in his youth).

FUN FACT: Stalin's mother was still alive, and said "I'd rather have you been a priest" She died in 1937
Who told you that? Goebbels?
He accomplished a lot more as general secretary than he ever would've as a priest!
@@user-qw6zj5ix9k He took that out of his own a.ss and invented that
