I came across the SCP Foundation back when it was, like, 150 entries. I'm not sure it was even set up as a wiki; I think it was just a standard webpage. I read them all in about a day. If I tried to go through all, what, 7000+ entries I'd never finish. The one I remember best from back then was a ball of fish hooks that the more you struggled if one pricked you the more would shoot out until you were entirely consumed. I wonder if that article is still there? Hm, maybe if I go looking I'll be permanently stuck down the rabbit hole. Better to let sleeping dogs lie.

just have to say I love you're work in bringing these stories to life, me and my son both love to discuss the stories you talk about and we can hardly wait to hear more when you put them out, thank you for all you're work you put in, it is very appreciated.
I have forgotten the number of times I have listened to this story, and I love hearing it often. Whenever I listen to the depth and detail, I cannot help but think to draw correlations to various fantasy groups, such as the Al Bhed in final fantasy 10 and 10-2, or the Gerudo in the twilight princess storyline. For some reason: desert peoples and clockwork to advanced tech always seem to go so well hand in hand together into something wonderful, mysterious and even mystical. ❤❤❤
yo man i didn't even watch this yet but your content is amazing and the rate at which you put it out is incredible. i listen to these when i need to find peace at work and when i need to wind down for bed. thanks for what you do, it has an impact on us.
Much like the broken god it's stories like this that are greater than the sum of their parts. Once you find a favorite cluster of connected short stories these longer ones really fill the void of wanting more of a chapter book.
Ha! And i was just about to see which one of your videos i wanted to fall asleep to until i saw you posted this 4 minutes ago! Thanks for choosing for me!
My head canon is that SCP-1 is the combined history of the Mekhanites, Devites, Scarlet King(and his various cults), Sarkics, and Tetheans. Combined they form the secret history of the largest power struggle on our planet(and possibly our reality).
The description of the battlefield just sounds like another day in the Warhammer 40k universe. Gigantic mech suits crushing cities - Imperial Titans Spirits daemons flying around human compatriots - Chaos cultists + Daemonkin Metal soldiers charging walls - Necrons Also... An impressive throne - Golden Throne of Terra Mechanite religion - Cult Mechanicus "Flesh is weak" - Mechanicus saying Bionic eyes - Even the Emperor himself has one! Power Armour - Power Armour Abominant - Genestealer Cult Abominant (similar name at least)
That was absolutely fascinating to listen to and dissect. I honestly thought things were going to go a lot worse for those involved, but it turned out slightly better than what I thought.
So...Blackwood...Is a telepathic sea slug. I'm just imagining a sea slug leading this intense expedition to lost cities, exploring hidden worlds and expanding his knowledge of the supernatural.
They're aren't many kinds of stories that I get immersed in but this is so well narrated. I can just let my imagination create these characters and the world they're in. Very good job. Edgar Allen Poe has this effect on me as well, I'll recommend something for the fellow SCP fans. EAP Tell Tale Heart read by Glenn Beck. He does this story justice. He pours so much emotion and feeling into each word. You feel the horror and madness Poe meant to convey.
I love how the underground facility is built like a giant mechanical human eye. Idk if you included the image of the underground in the video but it's on the wiki page
I've never really been compelled by the church of the broken God, but I will say I do enjoy this story in a vacuum, even if some elements of it as a story are a little odd
Ah, Lord Blackwood, the quintessential British explorer; 'Monday: Found an ancient city of the elder Gods. Had kippers for breakfast. The camel herder cheated at canasta this evening.' 😆
this is pretty lovecraftian in the beginning! i love when scps remind me of lovecraft, lol. so many parts reminded me of the nameless city, including the use of the word "charnal", to describe the bones found by lord blackwood in this scp, and the winds of the nameless city.
All of histories most evil dictators only wanted to " protect the people " . This is a fascinating exploration of one with more capacity for evil than humanly possible . I confess I have no knowledge of the source material , having woken up to it on autoplay . But , this was so entertaining I'll investigate .
I can understand Aram's point of view but when he disobeyed O5-11's orders, i knew things are going south. Using a mind linked throne on himself was a big no-no. The throne changed Aram' mind to more like Bumaro's. So he became more emotional and less rational. Its like marvel's civil war type situation, both sides have valid reasons. But SCP Foundation's main motto is "Secure, Contain, Protect ". It prioritizes humanity's survival and maintaining a status quo over other things. So the tech from a foreign god and ancient civilization will obviously arouse foundation's distrust.
I find it quite funny and peculiar that this is quite similar to AoT's storyline (probably more so on Elder Scrolls), drawing similarities between Eren and the King (later researcher dude) with a mix of 40k's mechanicus ideology and the background of an apocalyptic Elder scrolls x) Anyways, this is by far one of the most interesting SCP entries that I never got bored with and watched it till the end! Props to the creator/s for this, thank you! Just quite sad that there was no reveal to whoever the Abonimation was. And yeah, hopefully the creator/s continue this storyline and maybe have Bumaro and his Kingdom an ally in some invasion soon!
What a fascinating take ont he Bronze Age collapse. a few majour nations, technological innovation that is lost in a dark age after an invasion from a seafearing faction
At this point I'm just expecting to find signs in any lost/ancient location claiming: "Blackwood was here."
“Hello sweetie.”

I love this series SO much. You did such an incredible job on Amoni-Ram, I'm thrilled that it's all been put together. This is legit an audiobook, man. You make it vivid and real while at the same time having a very relaxing voice. I love it.
Tbh anything to do with the church of the broken God/Mekhane seems to always be among my favorite SCP stories. Keep up the amazing work!
I think this is the best SCP channel on this site. That being said, every single time you refer to LORD THEODORE THOMAS BLACKWOOD as Blackwood, I cry inside. This fictional person deserves more respect!
just have to say I love you're work in bringing these stories to life, me and my son both love to discuss the stories you talk about and we can hardly wait to hear more when you put them out, thank you for all you're work you put in, it is very appreciated.
As a filmmaker this gives me the urge to make it into a film. But my god that'd be too insane lmao xD
There's way crazier films than this out there.
@@wetworms. ofc, but they have money... I don't 😂
If you make that film hit me up. I’ll be more than happy to score it
Much like the broken god it's stories like this that are greater than the sum of their parts. Once you find a favorite cluster of connected short stories these longer ones really fill the void of wanting more of a chapter book.
Ha! And i was just about to see which one of your videos i wanted to fall asleep to until i saw you posted this 4 minutes ago! Thanks for choosing for me!
Please don’t stop making SCP content. Real fans will always be here, hungry for content.
Thank you for proving the entire community with this amazing content

@@dingdongshush LMAO YEA shit was 5 in the morning for me i was dead i sleep to da scp
@@GIVITHEDONBASS2X I don't know why I commented that - what an arsy thing to do! If you were to see MY typos...
My head canon is that SCP-1 is the combined history of the Mekhanites, Devites, Scarlet King(and his various cults), Sarkics, and Tetheans. Combined they form the secret history of the largest power struggle on our planet(and possibly our reality).
love the way the story keep it limits concerning fewer details, but the best in all-time or emit very rare t
Take a shot every time they say "How was Amoni-Ram doing this when [insert ancient society here] was doing this"
Given Meckane. I'm good without poisoning the shit outta my liver thanks xD
I don't do hangovers, thanks😂!
The description of the battlefield just sounds like another day in the Warhammer 40k universe.
Gigantic mech suits crushing cities - Imperial Titans
Spirits daemons flying around human compatriots - Chaos cultists + Daemonkin
Metal soldiers charging walls - Necrons
Also...
An impressive throne - Golden Throne of Terra
Mechanite religion - Cult Mechanicus
"Flesh is weak" - Mechanicus saying
Bionic eyes - Even the Emperor himself has one!
Power Armour - Power Armour
Abominant - Genestealer Cult Abominant (similar name at least)
"the flesh is weak" is a saying by the Iron Hands btw :)
@@mr.alpharius6409 cult mechanicus says this too
That was absolutely fascinating to listen to and dissect.
He was once human
He was human during the exploring. The sea slugness came later
I like that one of the researchers literally shares a name with the city
A bit much eh?
@@garywoodburn4292 i spent a lot of the first half being annoyed by the similarity because i was mixing them up until i got it
OMG THIS WAS AWESOME!!!!!!!!!
I am happy that I stumbled upon this channel !!!
Thank you for all that you do. We seriously appreciate it.
Jeez, between the Sarkics, the Daevites and now this Abominant, the Church of the Broken God has plenty of enemies.
What group of interest in the SCP Mythos doesn’t have plenty of enemies?

Awesome. I look forward to the longer scp videos. Iv probably listened to apotheosis like 5 times. So fun. Keep up the great work Mang.
It's not new but it's a great story and plenty long to fall asleep to without leaving autoplay going.
I hope everyone who reads this is having a nice and cozy night. Bell well be cozy be good. Enjoy the exploring.
I love this canon! The CoBG is so fascinating 👏
I WAS LITERALLY JUST LOOKING AT YOUR CHANNEL FOR NEW VIDEOS AND YOU UPLOADED 5 MINUTES LATER???
i love this kind of scp story the most
Dude ur awesome, u helped me during my boredom in high school and ur dedication is worthy of praise
1:50:00 wow was not expecting to hear Ouroboros mentioned
Best story to listen over and over again.
5am and this pops up, seems like i'll be sleeping to this
Adeptus mechanicus fans after hearing this: *excited beeping noises*
They're aren't many kinds of stories that I get immersed in but this is so well narrated. I can just let my imagination create these characters and the world they're in. Very good job. Edgar Allen Poe has this effect on me as well, I'll recommend something for the fellow SCP fans. EAP Tell Tale Heart read by Glenn Beck. He does this story justice. He pours so much emotion and feeling into each word. You feel the horror and madness Poe meant to convey.
I love how the underground facility is built like a giant mechanical human eye. Idk if you included the image of the underground in the video but it's on the wiki page
Ive never seen so many EPIC scifi-fantasty architecture images in one sitting!
Bravo! Great story telling and writing that exhibits grand uniqueness and yet unify's with inclusion of much that has been and what many hope to see.
This channel honestly doesn't get as much appretiation as it deserves.
The King Of The SCP is Here!
I've never really been compelled by the church of the broken God, but I will say I do enjoy this story in a vacuum, even if some elements of it as a story are a little odd
Me on first part : Robert Aram sound really familiar.
Me on second part : *I knew it...*
Ah, Lord Blackwood, the quintessential British explorer; 'Monday: Found an ancient city of the elder Gods. Had kippers for breakfast. The camel herder cheated at canasta this evening.' 😆
10/10 story
another 001 proposal ? *cracks knuckles and grabs popcorn and blanket*
I'd been waiting 4 this vid. New part 2 my sleep play list
The overnight hero back at it again to save my shift, came in early tonight and only have 2 hours left in my 10 hour shift its perfect 😍
I’d love to see these imagined into a TV series.
this is pretty lovecraftian in the beginning! i love when scps remind me of lovecraft, lol. so many parts reminded me of the nameless city, including the use of the word "charnal", to describe the bones found by lord blackwood in this scp, and the winds of the nameless city.
All of histories most evil dictators only wanted to " protect the people " . This is a fascinating exploration of one with more capacity for evil than humanly possible . I confess I have no knowledge of the source material , having woken up to it on autoplay . But , this was so entertaining I'll investigate .
False.
How many different SCP-001 are we gonna have, first it was the factory, then the angel, now a whole city...
thank you for the good lore that i can listen to when i fold laundry at work
I’d love to see more of this canon for sure. This was awesome
Loved it would love to heir about the other two great cities that are mentioned in the story.
This SCP absolutely ignites my imagination. I just adore it.
I just started get it into SCP and your videos and the way you narrate them are just the best
"Maybe it's in the sub-cockles, I'm not sure" 🤣🤣
I watched this while on hold for insurance. Listening to this with tinny musak was very.. interesting
So it's like an STC in 40K I guess?
Will forever love Robert Bumaro's BOOMING voice.
in the greatest words of the tech-priests "from the moment i understood the weakness of my flesh, it disgusted me."
This is by far my most favorite scp
I find it quite funny and peculiar that this is quite similar to AoT's storyline (probably more so on Elder Scrolls), drawing similarities between Eren and the King (later researcher dude) with a mix of 40k's mechanicus ideology and the background of an apocalyptic Elder scrolls x)
Anyways, this is by far one of the most interesting SCP entries that I never got bored with and watched it till the end! Props to the creator/s for this, thank you! Just quite sad that there was no reveal to whoever the Abonimation was. And yeah, hopefully the creator/s continue this storyline and maybe have Bumaro and his Kingdom an ally in some invasion soon!
Yesterday's episode traumatized me
Honestly, I really like this canon so far. I think I might actually like it enough so far, to place it as my potential new headcanon.
What a fascinating take ont he Bronze Age collapse. a few majour nations, technological innovation that is lost in a dark age after an invasion from a seafearing faction
