Kit turned out great, love the pilot and the weathering you did on it. Love the larger 1/28 scale, reminds me of the vintage Aurora kits. I just subbed, Jeff sent me.
This kit was first released in 1957 so it's been around a long time. You could have left the side panels off. Gave you a glimpse of the engine. Nice job.
This brings back memories, I had this and it's two brethren, the Dr1 Triplane and the Sopwith Camel, when I was a kid. Just as a matter of interest the rope bits are flying wires. Ejector pin depressions are a fact of life on these old kits unfortunately.
Welcome to the styrene madness :) These 1/28 scale are real Revell oldies, but can be transformed into beauties. I always use a filler putty that sands easy with sanding sticks. Endresult is great, love what you done with the pilot and spinner. Greetz, Dutch Dave.

these parts mentioned are the triangular fairing (situated between the forward fuselage struts) which covered the piping to the gravity fuel tank and the radiator in the upper wing. Looking at the real plane, it didn't give the pilot a lot of visibility!
Another comment I would like to make is the border between the camouflage colors was not of the misty kind that one w/ an airbrush can produce; you can see from photographs that the various colors do not mix w/ each other.

Yeah it was odd. but a lovely model. I like the bigger models aswell.
