My little Chihuahua was sick this week with an upset tummy. He gets really painful gas that builds up in his belly. I give him gentle massages to ease the discomfort. Music like this is soothing. Thankfully he is back to normal. Next year will be out 10 year anniversary together. I rescued him from the shelter, but he really rescued me. Two months before getting him I lost my daddy to cancer. It was a difficult time as I was his full-time caretaker while he did hospice at home. It was a tremendous loss especially for my mother and I. I lost my beloved Maltese the year my father was diagnosed. I didn't want to get another dog but my mother encouraged me and thought it would be good for me. She was right. Moms usually are. 😊 My little guy brought the joy back into my life. I am so grateful to have him. He is 10 or 11 years now. They didn't know the age when he came in. I only hope that the Lord allows him to be with us for many more years to come. 🙏🩷🐾

My dog has always been anxious when my mum leaves the house. Right as I type she is relaxing next to my legs, waiting for my mum but at the same time so calm.
