- In today's video we go to Lakenenland sculpture park in Marquette, MI. This place is pretty unique, it is open 24/7, you can walk or drive through and during the winter you can even snow mobile through it. Tom Lakenen has built over 100 sculptures from scrap iron and it is totally free to check out but donations are always welcome. PSA..... If it is mosquito season make sure to wear loose fitting pants and long sleeve shirts and a netted hat if you have one. The mosquitos are no joke in the Upper Peninsula.
oh now that was fun!
So glad you enjoyed it! Thank you for always watching!
1I want one of those insulator chains to hang in my backyard, upside down to catch the rain! I'm shocked at the amount of mosquitoes - I agree, I thought we had it horrible down here but it really doesn't get that bad to where you're spitting them away!! Mental note: Bug spray if I ever head to the U- P, lol
The mosquitos are bad but it’s so beautiful in the UP, it’s totally worth it! The rain chain would be amazing!!
Especially later in the summer. The mosquitoes are huge!!But so are the blueberries. So..
We didn’t find the blueberries!!
