@@TheJCFan Slight problem though. The refs actually missed TWO calls on two straight drives so it kind of evened things out to be honest with you. They missed a BLATANT face mask on the Saints the drive drive immediately preceding this one that would have given the Rams 1st and Goal at the one instead of the 3rd and Goal they ended up with. It happened of Goff's scramble down to the 2 yard line, Goff's mask was BLATANTLY grabbed by a Saints player and should have been called and wasn't. With three chances at it, the Rams certainly would have scored a Touchdown. Instead they had to settle for a field goal. So by all rights, it should have been 24-20 instead of 20-20 going into the next drive for the Saints. So obviously if the Saints had needed to score a touchdown instead of just a field goal, they would have been playing this drive a lot differently than they did and the PI play might never even have happened. Everybody needs to face the fact that the refs missed TWO calls on two drives and the first one, if it had been called, might have meant the second one (which of course was the missed PI call) might never have even happened.

I still to this day, have no idea how you look back on that Jennings interception and think Tate EVER had possession of that ball. He is literally just giving Jennings a bear hug and the refs are drooling on themselves like "hurr durr simultaneous possession, so Tate got it."

When the NFL switched to all scoring plays and turn overs were automatically booth reviewed, it was inexcusably stupid to make it a 15-yd unsportsmanlike penalty for a coach to throw the challenge flag.
Throwing the red flag in that situation is equivalent to when the lightbulb goes out, but you’re so much into the habit of turning the light on when you come into the room that you still flip the switch when you come in, even though you know it’s burnt out.

For the record, the "tuck rule" was an actual rule, and the refs were just following the rule. Stupid rule tho

@Slim Savage "When [an offensive] player is holding the ball to pass it forward, any intentional forward movement of his arm starts a forward pass, even if the player loses possession of the ball as he is attempting to tuck it back toward his body."

@Jon Jonson honestly it’s not his fault, they say play until you hear a whistle. It’s the refs fault for not marking him down or even reviewing a TOUCHDOWN. Like since when were touchdowns unreviewable?

Once I saw the Lion's at the beginning I figured the whole video would be them getting jobbed. One major one you missed was the Detroit Dallas playoff game where they picked up the blatant pass interference flag shortly after they showed Roger Goodell partying it up with Jerry Jones in the skybox. I believe it was the next year when your last clip took place and Dallas was hosed against Green Bay. Brought a smile to my face :)
