Cheers Warren, those powerlines were a real pain, as was the scaffolding around the castle itself. But what can you do, just put up with it I suppose. Thanks for watching and commenting, much appreciated 🙏🙏🙏
a special treat tonight - the beautiful country I live in! Like you say you really can't take a bad photo with the outstanding scenery. I'm not sure I've 'done' this particular castle - I've done most of the ones in the Lothians, borders and a little farther up north (lost count!) you make it look so easy, but what you have is skill. Thank you Izzy they are all gorgeous
Thank you so much Jill, its always a pleasure when I read your comments, its in a gorgeous setting. Best if you catch it once the scaffolding has come down it will be really special then. Take care 🙏🙏🙏
Your wonderful Scotland adventures continue Izzy! Such a lovely and serene location, and really well exposed and captured despite the flat light. Beautiful images - my fave being at 8:48 and fantastic to see you did eventually get some brilliant light! 👍
A beautiful location and video Izzy. Some great images but the last one (colour version) was the stand out for me. Thanks for sharing and have a great week
Another fine adventure Pal !! You went to the correct side unlike me :-) really like all the shots !! But the big pink cloud stood out to me ! The scaffolding was still there too I see !! You played with the conditions perfectly
Cheers buddy, I very nearly went over the other side, but you know me and water I just had to get the tripod wet (not a euphemism 😂). Have a great week 🙏🙏🙏
... hello, you took wonderful pictures, for me the first one in b&w is the best... the location is beautiful, but i agree with u, i'm more impressed with mountains then the castle... stay in health 🤗
Cheers Peter, very much appreciated, it was an odd morning and I didn't really hold out much hope for the images I got, but I was pleasantly surprised once I got them home and started editing. Take care and enjoy the weekend 🙏🙏🙏
What a grand Scotland adventure! Your composition skills go without question but your exposure skills in all lighting conditions are really amazing! And the B&W versions - oh my!
Oh My what a stunning location! Once again I can't pick a favourite but maybe 10.0 and 12.5 could just be a smidgen in front. Your composition skills are unsurpassed! I do like images that showcase the landscape with skies complementary and not 'over the top'. I learn so much watching your videos and always have an izzy voice in my head telling me what to do! Thank you so much you are an inspiration.
What a great set of shots, I loved the switch to black and white after each colour frame. Gave up trying to pick a favourite but the panorama was stunning…and looking at my shots and comparing them to yours you might just be selling yourself a little short…or then again it might just be you are consistently lucky with your snapping Well done Iz
I noticed the powerlines running across the background. I would be furious about that and maybe not take a photo in that direction. Not to forget about the fences. You didn't wanna do anything about them would you? In the pano, it works. but the singles, I would at least be hesitated.
I hear you, I too was disappointed when I saw them, but as I had travelled all the way from Australia to visit Scotland I had to make the most of every shot. Maybe I'll be back when they have finished the renovations. Have a fantastic week ahead 🙏🙏🙏
Another great video Izzy and some terrific shots, but don't you hate power lines!

Beautiful visions that become beautiful images.
Thank you for your very kind words Garnie, I really do appreciate it 🙏🙏🙏
Nice vlog Mr 👌 loved the black and white Lexp of the castle, very striking with the clouds 👍🏻
