He didnt want the main role. He helped direct most the movies, he could have had much bigger roles if he wanted. He was like the main side character, he unifies the mains

Step Up 4 is base on Miami while I think Moose is in Brooklyn studying. They just called Moose in the latter part of the story cause he’s not really involved in the main plot

Honestly, other than how dope the dancing here is, the best parts of this are the slow progression of that Cuban guy getting more and more into the whole thing, and that by halfway through he is just as pumped as everyone else, or quite possibly even more pumped than everyone else haha.
I went with my mom and my squad who were all obsessed with Moose and we kept looking at my mom like where is he? Where is he? So when he finally came on screen we lost it.
I miss it all. Everything about what Step Up was. Not only was it my childhood, but I made many friends from it, and my sister from it. I miss her greatly.
