Rwanda elections: Kagame critic Rwigara unveils election bid • FRANCE 24 English

Diane Rwigara, a vehement critic of Rwanda's iron-fisted President Paul Kagame, announced Wednesday she planned to run against him in this year's elections. Rwanda, which has been de facto ruled by Kagame since the end of the 1994 genocide, is due to hold both presidential and parliamentary polls on July 15. FRANCE 24's Clément di Roma reports.
