ALWAYS SUCH A JOY TO SEE TRACY , she,s a LEGEND and it's fantastic to have her racing again . She is such a great ambassador for the sport and would make a great ! Regular PRO PRESENTER her knowledge is extensive thanks gmbn /embn great footage.
Really good comments Tracy & thanks Anna. I've ridden Es since 2018 & have always told people they are more physical to ride but the motor takes that peak power effort for you (if you want). So not only as Tracy says - more effort to manoeuvre, but they take more effort to stop & you do more faster trails in total (uphill trails become downhills) which also means more brake squeezes, more gear changes, more push-ups, more squats, more pedal strokes... Totally your choice - Taxi or all day workout, or a combo of both.😁Love you Anna.
Wow! Congrats, this one is easily the best eMTB vid i've seen in the past view months! Some much great tips in short time, everything is covered, amazing work girls!!
Good info. Has a video been done on comparing the setup between an mtb and an emtb? I ride both and my bars, saddle, tires, pedals, max seat height and a few other odds and ends are all different between the two. Took a while to figure out the needed changes from mtb to emtb. On my emtb the bars are a bit wider, saddle is more cushy (I sit a lot more on the emtb), emtb tires are burlier (I do not worry about rolling resistance or weight as much), flats on the emtb, clips on the mtb (I do not need to pedal circles on the emtb), max seat height is lower on the emtb (I do not need that max pedal stroke efficiency).
@@davidwhitworth4577 If you're talking regular emtb derailleur shifting the main brands are shimano and sram and are 11 or 12 speed (ie 11 or 12 shifts). Can you tell me emtb example(s) names of 7, 21, 27 shifts?

is your sprocket nut torqued down? i snapped a chain on my rail 7 b/c that nut, tight to the hand, but wasn't actually tight and it was twisting just a bit

Started ebikeing in 21' and just love it 😊I'm 61 years old and out riding more trail than ever
Biking vs bikeing
I'm only a few months into my eMTB journey and this was super useful! Thank you!
Many thanks! I just started riding an EMTB recently and I really appreciate this episode.

Wonderful episode! Loved Tracy’s break down of the climbing techniques!
Yes, more pros!
Thanks Anna
Fantastic tips and video. One of the best.
Great video! Keep it up. 😊

Great advice ladies.

That was excellent! Now, out to practise😊
Enjoy!

Thanks for this content. Maybe you could develop a series of these tutorials? They really would help me.
We'll see what we can do
Thank you Tracey and Anna. Good advice and insights, really helpful. Out of interest what front mudguard does Tracey have?
RRP - Rapid racer products - come in different lengths and for all different forks
Experience is a great thing, Anna. You should tried Tracy bike to give a bit of confidence,
good stuff!
Great tips! Is Tracy using flats for pedals ? and what tyre pressure is she running on her bike?
Thanks 😊
SPD shimano pedals tyres pressure 20 -26psi depending on condition and terrain
Does the number of gears on the cassette make a difference?
Most are 11 or 12 speed, so not much different

As a BIG rider, I never go above emtb and spend 90% of my time in tour+. Very easy to spin out if you really put your weight down.
whats the best chain you recommend for torque i am parodied that i will snap it
Pinion if available, if not manufacture have not advanced quick enough and you got what you got.
How many chains have you snapped?
@nomad-pq4yw8iy7v 2...I have the Rail 5

Strange how Steve is always banging on about how weight doesn’t matter, Tracy has a completely different opinion.
"Nice" advertisement for Trek/Bontrager company, that factory team using Continental tires instead of their own... :-)
Tracey's not on the factory team programme so is free to use whatever she feels like 😁
@embn thanks for clarification :) my mistake.
@@embn anyway... her Rail looks really beautiful. Even not matching battery cover looks great.
