In the accents, the bends, the melodies that are both complex and ultra catchy, I can't help but see a lot of inspiration in Guthrie govan. With a little modern touch that's really not too shabby, giving it a breath of fresh air. It's a blast! ❤️🔥

I really love these tunes. I can appreciate the sound, technical ability, etc but what really pulls me in (and sets you and Al apart from a lot of players) is those simple flowing melodies. 1:40 to 2:30 like damn ! Sometimes the best stuff is the "easiest" parts of the song.
Thank you! 🙏🏼 I 100% agree. The easiest, catchiest melodies always stick around far longer than complex shreddy stuff. Even thinking of all the most iconic guitar solos, they’re all as basic as they can be, which kinda implies even the most virtuosic players can sometimes play in vain (I also fall victim to this myself). And I also think composing such things that are simple but everlasting is the hardest feat of all in my opinion. 🙏🏼
