1986, this track spread like wild fire while I was serving my Mormon mission in Ventura, California. We were not allowed to listen to music for two years, but we managed to listen to this one. 🤘🔊🔊🍻
0:38 it took me from the first time I ever saw this, when it was new in the 1980s, to now... to realize that this segment was achieved with reversing melting ice. *facepalm* My brother used to absolutely love this song (I mean, not that I didn't-of course I did; I'm not a fool). He died in April 2020 and now this song makes me think of him more than ever.
If Ghost brought you here, that's fine, at least you got here. "Sweet Dreams" got all the attention and rightfully so, it was a great song. If not for this fine video, "Missionary Man" might have gone unnoticed, and that would have been a shame. With a hard driving beat, great backup vocals, killer harmonica that steps right up to the front, and Annie looking as hot as ever. This song shows the Eurythmics at their rocking best.
I am always about 20 years behind pop tastes. The Eurythmics Rock. I just sort of remember not particularly liking them. They stood the test of time and Annie Lennox is pretty and strong.

+Dalle Smalhals What a great body and it wrapped in leather, nice...
Yasmin88 c'mon it was the 80's, that is definitely pleather
Yasmin88, you said "banging". Heh heh heh heh.
James Marcino You probably wanted to destroy her hips, didn't you?
@Dalle Smalhals that too. 1:13 swinging those leather wrapped hips
As someone who heard the cover done by Ghost first, i am in awe this is amazing.
This track knocks it out of the park. Hell yeah!!! And Jimmy on the harp is off the hook. Hell yeah!!!!! Joniece on backup, a master stroke. Hell yeah!!!!! Better watch out when Annie's about, boys. What a GREAT band and GREAT track. My fave of theirs.
1986, this track spread like wild fire while I was serving my Mormon mission in Ventura, California. We were not allowed to listen to music for two years, but we managed to listen to this one. 🤘🔊🔊🍻
…did anyone mess with you?
Annie Lennox has the VOICE, the look and the attitude of a female boss. Love U, Annie
The fabulous Annie Lennox
This is some of the best music to ever come out of the '80s.
ANNIE LENOX IS AND HAS ALWAYS BEEN AN EXTRAORDINARY BEAUTY....I LOVE HER!
I love Annie Lennox ❤
Annie is a beautiful soulful woman. Thank you for posting and God bless you and your family 😇
Such a kick ass song. Saw them in concert in 1990.
Such a banger after all these years
Annie is so talented and SO HOT!. I graduated in 90. The 80's were awesome. To those who missed out I'm sorry
0:38 it took me from the first time I ever saw this, when it was new in the 1980s, to now... to realize that this segment was achieved with reversing melting ice. *facepalm*
My brother used to absolutely love this song (I mean, not that I didn't-of course I did; I'm not a fool). He died in April 2020 and now this song makes me think of him more than ever.
何度見ても、やっばり最高ですね❗️
昔々 コンサートのときに彼らとたまたま同じホテルだったのと、空港で逢い、わいわいしたのが遠い思い出です。
If Ghost brought you here, that's fine, at least you got here. "Sweet Dreams" got all the attention and rightfully so, it was a great song. If not for this fine video, "Missionary Man" might have gone unnoticed, and that would have been a shame. With a hard driving beat, great backup vocals, killer harmonica that steps right up to the front, and Annie looking as hot as ever. This song shows the Eurythmics at their rocking best.
That voice.. Those hips... And the blonde pixie cut yowza... Harmonica, too
I loved this song back in the day and still do. The music and the lyrics are awesome
This song is spectacular, it has everything, rhythm, voice, video, lyrics...
I am always about 20 years behind pop tastes. The Eurythmics Rock. I just sort of remember not particularly liking them. They stood the test of time and Annie Lennox is pretty and strong.
You can't beat the music from the80s...
Annie and Eurythmics forever.
Awesome show at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame ceremony last night in L.A.
This was such a powerful song.
you both took such amazing care of each other
She's a knockout in this video. Both in appearance and voice.
This takes me back to my highschool days. Love the eurythmics always.dave was once one of the greatest guitarist of his time.
When I start to think of the best pop songs of the '80s I always have to think of this one. The back up singer and the harmonica player steal the show with this.
For sure
I think I love you. This song.. The sound.. That groove!🤩🍒🏵🫡 Thank you very much
Annie has the most expressive eyes in Rock, such emotion!❤
I would post the lyrics the Annie's enunciation is so perfect it's not even necessary.
