To mark the occasion, for this week's bonus podcast, we chatted to actor Brian Capron - the man behind the murderer! Started watching Classic Corrie about 2 years ago and the whole time I was waiting for Richard Hillman to come in it. I couldn't wait to see that storyline again. Absolutely legendary. Not just the best that Coronation Street has ever been but probably the best that any British soap has ever been.
Brian living with Jimmi during his time on the show is fantastic trivia!

Great interview! It's been great to see the Richard Hillman storyline play out again, I remember watching it as a 7 year old and being terrified of Brian when it aired originally!

I was in near hysterics when they filmed Richard looking out of the window stalking his next victim I think and his face was framed with the net curtains. He looked like some sort of strange fish wife. Brilliant.
