Oh you guys have to watch the 2013 spike vgx awards. Geoff was trying so hard to make that show work and joel was trying so hard to make it not. I fully understand why the game awards became a thing after the trainwreck that those were.
I hope you guys keep going back. I watched the 2004 one recently and it's so unhinged. It's actually hard to find a segment that isn't wildly offensive by today's standards, but also feels like the origin of what was to come since Kojima got a lifetime achievement award (crazy that was 20 years ago!)
Flower slander will not be tolerated. Excellent game (and ost) and actual good use of Sixaxis controls. Not sure how it works on PC when not using motion controls, but would make sure to have a controller that supports gyro for it.
If anyone wants "Hard Mode" for Flower, see the PS Vita version with the motion sensing enabled - where because you have to literally turn the screen to move you can't actually see where you're going half the time. It's still a favourite of mine, but really was made to be played a certain way.
Literally listened to Songs in the Key of Life in full just before this was posted. Seconding Janet’s recommendation. It’s the greatest album of all time, from the GOAT musician.
It's the worst one for me. Lost Legacy felt like Uncharted, whereas Uncharted 4 felt like it was infected by The Last of Us somehow. The story got heavier, the sense of adventure was missing for most of it, and the pacing was terrible. Naughty Dog went from making fun action pastiches to trying for HBO prestige drama with every title. It's amazing Lost Legacy came together was well as it did considering how bloated and ponderous U4 was.
Back when these presentations had more personality and weren't sterile environments. Blame a lot of gamers for being the thought police, hope you like your safe spaces.
