I bought your Class, when my 1st cryptos were up 100%, Now they are down 20% off purchase price BUT because of your channel, I'm fascinated with the technology. I'm still looking forward to your class so I could learn as much as possible.
Everyone please stay calm on bitcoin. If you're one of the people who bought bitcoin at 19k then PLEASE do not sell. Stay calm. This is a much needed pullback. Bitcoin had just gone up too much too fast and this correction was inevitable . This reminds me of what happened in 2013. Bitcoin started the year at around 10 bucks and finished at around 1100. And over the next year bitcoin went down over 80% to around 200, a loss of over 80%. And I'm sure a lot of people who bought at the highs panicked sold. But here's the thing. Had you had strong hands and NOT panicked and sold you would be up LARGE today. And when you look at a long term chart of bitcoin today that 80% decline from 2013 to 2015 is barely noticeable . Just think long term. Look at this pullback as a chance to BUY ON SALE!!!. Dollar cost average. Just remember. You don't get hurt on a roller coaster if you DO NOT JUMP OFF!!!!!!!!!!!! Show less REPLY
I don't see it as a crash 20- 30% fluctuations are normal in crypto, if you can't handle the swing, crypto may not be the space for those people, that's the beauty of it IMO, good time to buy
I was thinking to trade bitcoins for long and found impressive reviews on this software (Link Here >>> *4BitcoinMoney. Com* ). And then started with it, I found it very impressive so far.?
Ever thought of doing a video explaining the core code of bitcoin line by line, at least of the main features? Proof of work, how transactions get communicated to the network, private key confirmation, block building, transaction selection and prioritization based on fees, sha256, merkle trees, elliptic curve functions and any other features you find interesting? Is that even possible without reviewing the code in its entirety? I think this could help a lot of people (me especially!) better understand the technology. Looking for you on steemit!!
I'm sure there's a lot of people out there that have some knowledge of programming that are trying to understand bitcoin a its anatomy but are not at that level, not in a million years. (myself included)
Pedro Gonçalves It'll be hard to understand it fully bcos it originates not from a mind of a human but a superintelligent AI. Just the fact how tricky it created blockchain/mining makes me shiver. It rewards you for computing power, you give "her" ur "virtual energy" and she rewards you with blocks you can sell in the market, the more she gets the more powerful she becomes.
Yeah I wanna dive into biance soon too. Mainly for alt coins though, mainly for IOTA. ;) I just use kraken at first to buy stuff with fiat and Im already verified there so..
I am new to crypto and I am facing my first bubble. But I am not cashing out. I invested my money in projects that have a promising blockchain applications that could potentially change the world. Sometimes I do fear a bit about losing my money but I believe in the potential of blockchain. Keep spreading the knowledge Ivan!! :)
Roger Ganga Sundararaj there is no need to be fearful. If you are spending money that you don't care if you lose you should not fear. Spending money with fear is dangerous and ignorant when investing.
Thanks Ivan. All I can say is that 2017 has been a very successful year. Now we have the holidays just in front of us and it makes perfect sense that we see this dive (people taking profits). Don't let fear overcome and influence yourselfs. Happy holidays and get ready for a great 2018!!
If you thought you bought late, hold, it will rise again and much higher. Of course. Now is a great time to buy more, as it may never be this low again.
I think you will be amazed there are a lott off empty shells ... which people need to be educated about and the real projects need to be more understood.
as long as there are the worlds most regarded economic experts that talk about it as in "virtual currency" there is a chance to git rich big time because if they still dont know that its not virtual and never was there is a chance for the normal folk making a buck, big buck. im surprised to see the "experts" lacking so far behind - and it only shows that todays money is in the hands of total idiots that really dont know shit about economy and the future of it lol i dont know wheather to off my self or go crazy ecstatic and finally see the way to a world thats gonna bring back the happy :))
I'm not bothered not by the volatility so much. I get that. What I'm bothered by is what is going on behind the scenes in what is obviously a rigged market by some very wealthy people or entities. It doesn't wash that the entire crypto market of hundreds of cryptos can go down 30%, $2 billion in a matter of hours. This simply is illogical. And Ripple is up. Hmmm....it seems to me this is an area that is not being talked about.
Crypto currency was talked about in Buisness Insider before the internet was even released. It's definitely made and controlled by the same bankers that's why it was created by a "mystery man". Plus a lot of cryptos are openly backed by people like Soros. That being said I would still use it in the short term just expect it to be a Trojan horse who will betray you one day.
Paul, when I see that J.P. Morgan are behind Zcash, I can't help but worry, although as an investor, they will be the ones to watch. Morgan was personally behind Tesla's downfall after the Wardenclyffe fiasco a century ago by all accounts and we're still generating most of our electricity with steam. That reminds me, when are Steam Tokens being floated? I must look into that......
Ivan you absolutely nailed the thoughts on this price correction on many levels. Well said. My own personal view on this is that the price drop was initiated by some highly expected Christmas profit taking, an obvious point in time for this to happen especially with the recent mega-bull run. The initial drop this caused then spooked the masses and it just snowballed as it does with crypto. I have no doubt that it will be business as usual in the New Year and the trajectory will resume across the board. I used it as a great opportunity to buy those alt coins I had missed out on.
Hi Ivan, I am sure the content of the course is going to be great, but what is in the bag exactly? Could you please provide some sort of syllabus/curriculum for the course?
Fantastic as always Ivan - thank you for what you do for the community and I am glad you are starting your own academy and monetizing your channel. Cheers from California
I think your channel has much more detailed content than any out there. Plus its all so understandable for people who have no or little technical background. Hope you will do well in upcoming years.
Bitcoin will never go back to 20,000. I expect it to swing wildly but downward so something like this: back up to 18,000, down to 12,000, back up to 17,000, then down to 9,000...on and on all the way down below 500 at least. It should happen in 2018.
Your statement is useless. Market cap at 700 Bill - internet bubble got to 7 trillion in the 1990s before it popped.. that's without even accounting for inflation rates. BTC still has plenty of room to grow. Most likely will hit 45-60k at some point in 2018. It will get hyped up again before all the circulation is mined... when btc is completely mined it will crash 99%.
epic agree but not in 2018... it will swing for years now before jumping to +/- 50k just like 2013 ;) im surprised no one knows bout the self regulation and flooring prevention algorhythm implemented in the technology. when it falls to 5 or 6k or somewhere in there buy as much as you can and ride the pony to the top ;)
parture sorry but your speculation is worse as if you would guess about the price of a scam coin that would be simulated by hackers - nothing in universe behaves in the way u suggested ... on what info did u base your comment on?
Bravo!!! this video should be the official intro video to every beginner in cryptocurrencies. I have subscribed to your channel, I have a good feeling that you will be able to share more light on the technology behind cryptocurrencies due to the fact that you are a programmer. I can not wait to see your next video.
I've been messing around with bitcoin and litecoin since about 2012 but I think one of the main problems with bitcoin in the past few weeks and months is that the demand has risen so fast that there doesn't seen ti be enough mining power to confirm transactions fast enough for the average user and that current the transaction fee's are being pushed up allot as well due to the high transaction volume.
What you think about UBIQ Ivan? Seems a really solid coin to me, no premine, no ico, a really solid dev team with Julian Yap (Bittrex) and Luke Williams. Have been making solid progress quietly, no large marketing yet but they are on track to become one of the biggest gainers of 2018.
I have around 400 UBIQ, think im gonna add to that, it should be around 100k/200k satoshi's at least. Market cap is not even 200 million, while its a much better coin then most in the top 50
Corrections are to be expected as smart money is getting into the game. However we should not panic. Buy low sell high. Simple. These dips are perfect buying opportunities.
Just subscribed me and my brother (as a holiday gift) 2 your academy Ivan. Looking forward getting on board with all the great content and courses! Cu februari 1st have a great holiday
Ivan, I signed up for your course without any second thoughts. I am myself a programmer. Right now studying the 'Mastering Bitcoin' by Andreas. Did you finish the book? And did you run the entire blockchain related codes on your Mac? Please answer a bit in detail. As I am planning to install it on my MacBook Pro...
Love your videos! I wonder what do you think will happen when all the bitcoins will be mined? The incentive to run full node will disappear or the transaction fees will skyrocket
Not another crypto course from “crypto experts” for ridiculous membership fees. All with basic information you can find for free with a simple google search. Come on people. It’s snake oil.
If a person keeps the paraphrase and backup of their wallet safe, what need is there to also store backups of the private keys to every address used? Doesn't the wallet passphrase/backup give the person access to all of it?
Any chance you could start a programmer playlist (sidechain, lol) for devs? I'd love to see a playlist that focuses on the crypto market from a the perspective of a dev interested in the app possibilities for the existing platforms (BitCoin, Ethereum, etc.) and just as cool, cover the new ICO's like WaltconChain, Neo, etc.. It would also be great to get periodic updates on things like Rootstock, etc. and the progress they are (or or are not) making, whether or not the platform is having trouble delivering at all, if they are scaling successfully, if they are maintaining the covenant of decentralization or if there are forces involved that are trying to take control of the underlying blockchain. My two cents, oh wait, 6 cents, oh no, 1 cent! :)
Ivan, i'm interested in your thoughts on whether you think it's possible to speak of different responses towards crypto based on nationality / culture? What I mean is, have you yourself ever noticed (obviously in a very broad sense, because naturally it varies person to person) that certain cultures / nationalities are more open to the idea of crypto (i.e. willing to invest and learn) than others. I am just curious if perhaps, based on historical experience of money and financial institutions, this has an effect on people's attitudes towards crypto today. The obvious comparison would be citizens of former communist countries vs free market countries, or countries where there has been (hyper)inflation vs those with fairly stable currencies in the longrun.. (wondering if there is material there to write an essay about ;) ) thanks in advance
It's not that some people have nerves of steel, it's that you feel way more relaxed as long as your initial investment is still there. Quite certain that the majority of the sellers are the newcomers. I would add, being a programmer and knowing about the BTC since the early days, I'm not that convinced by blockchain. I'm technically more convinced that IOTA's tangle system is the one that will remain, for a used currency. I put my money in BTC when I started to realize that its value started to be recognized by many. So even for me it wasn't about the technical side.
Ivan this was the best video yet. The long term vision is the most important. Trading is a marathon not a sprint

I bought into bitcoin and ethereum about two weeks ago, but I was not worried at all by the drop. They've already recouped from most of the major drop from today. I find it quite logical that it would drop by years end. I suspect it will do so next year as well.
It's not all about clueless investors. The issue that has a lot of people legitimately concerned is the ever increasing transaction fees that make Bitcoin significantly less attractive as a currency. What is being done to fix that problem?
Don't worry crypto currency was created by the same old bankers they will get their return in some shape or form eventually. Cryptos currency was talked about in Buisness Insider before the internet existed.
Cookie MonstahClownx Ya my bad I was quite off been a few years since I looked into this. It's actually the economist cover of 1988. It shows fiat money being burned and a coin that looks exactly like Bitcoin rising from the flames with a phoenix. The cover says get ready for a world currency and on the coin it has the date 2018. Btw if ppl don't know the economist is the Rothchild's magazine.
Andreas told me to turn off all screens. I trust in that. Thanks for your commentary Ivan. We need not to panic, everything is just fine. It's the last Friday before Christmas, traders take their money of exchanges this time of the year. BTC no diferent. Enjoy the holidays.
All in BTC and XLM on my local Australian Exchange pretty much back to before correction. So merry Xmas guys and look forward to more informative reports in the New Year.
The last part of the video is absolutely correct, I don't think we at that point yet though, but it will undoubtedly happen sometime in the future and that's the time when the industry googles, Microsofts, Amazon's and apples can be born and the rest will flush away. It's indeed a necessary step in evolution of the industry. I'd like to add though I don't think Bitcoin is a serious player and even Ethereum might not be one. The serious player must start from a solid foundation, instead of rushed competition and learn from first two generations of blockchain like Bitcoin and Ethereum. Everyone should do the research for themselves and make their choice. I made mine and I think Cardano will be one of those that has a potential to revolutionize the industry on a global level. Отличное видео Ваня, так держать.
IVAN!!!! Please make a video on Hashgraph and what you think about it. Viability, comparison to blockchain, etc. It would be great to know your opinion and thoughts on this technology :D
I don't see this video for marketing your academy! you are absolutely right! peoples should know what is cryptocurrencies even at the essential level ! so correct "knowledge gives a nerves of steel" quality video as always!
Hi Ivan. You said “Bitcoin is changing the world”. I agree - but it is both good and bad. One single btc transaction spend as much power as 9 households. In 2019 bitcoin will surpass USA when it comes to use of electricity. That is seriously bad for the climate. It is worrying that hardly no one in the crypto community talk about this. It would be awesome if you would make a video about that topic - we need to be open about the good as well as the bad regarding bitcoin. Use of power is a huuuge downside to bitcoin
thanks for sharing your personal experience with BTC. These dips are all apart of the space and if you intend to survive and thrive in this community you must be able to weather the storm and see the bright future ahead.
Can u recommend any reviews on IOTA, because one review says this, the other says that. I don't know how to interpret the value of IOTA: either its gold, either its shit. No in betweens with this coin
I am a new investor and I panicked nd sold all the investment at the lowest after checking mny forecasts which suggested it'll go even low.... I want to invest again....now it's going back up....any guesses that it'll go down again and I wait for that to invest? Or do I invest now? Long time investors please give ur valuable opinions
Watching the price of Bitcoin plummet is a bit concerning, but we really shouldn't expect the price to go up & up & up all the time. I still have faith in its value, however seeing all the cryptocurrencies all take a nosedive at around the same time makes me wonder why that's the case. If it was just a whole bunch it'd be one thing, but pretty much all of them? I'm not sure what to think about that.
No need to be sad guys the game can be played from both sides. HERE IS A SECRET: The first coin that automatically adjusts to criminal manipulation will win it ALL. I.e. the value of the float will automatically adjust to the degree of manipulation.
Thank you! This need to be said by more bloggers. I got blocked by a "friend" on facebook because he kept trying to use the bitcoin price to recruit people. I kept emphasizing studying and reading white papers. But he was like it didn't matter, and only price action is important. Focus on price will create an army of sheep
The answer is quite simple, When the price declines HOLD, do not trade or else you sacrifice your crypto gains/holdings, period.
It's a healthy correction. Agree on the ongoing knowledge.
Aldo Solares it wasnt a correction
please, elaborate
Saw the drop so I decided to buy bitcoin for the first time (after studying for weeks) :) nice decision

(wondering if there is material there to write an essay about ;) )
thanks in advance
so did you sell everything at an 80% loss, or did you actually keep your Investment and let it make you 15-17 thousand dollars per coin now ?
I am very worried about the number of unconfirmed transactions increasing on the bitcoin network, what do you think?
Wonderful video! Can you do a video on Decred?
What is being done to fix that problem?
at least people are aware of this and several solutions are proclaimed
Don't worry. The devs will discuss this at least five more years before anything is done in haste.
Don't worry crypto currency was created by the same old bankers they will get their return in some shape or form eventually. Cryptos currency was talked about in Buisness Insider before the internet existed.
@Endless Slumber please share the actual story from Business Insider and time date of story.
Great to know that you have a good contact with him, Im from Sweden.
Отличное видео Ваня, так держать.
is the course of you like an online course or what? Where is it?
IVAN!!!! Please make a video on Hashgraph and what you think about it. Viability, comparison to blockchain, etc. It would be great to know your opinion and thoughts on this technology :D
I don't see this video for marketing your academy!
you are absolutely right!
peoples should know what is cryptocurrencies even at the essential level !
so correct "knowledge gives a nerves of steel"
quality video as always!
הערוץ הרשמי למטבעות וירטואלים how about the knowledge that bitcoin is unusable
CME and ETFs are ruining the Bitcoin name.
Great video Ivan, Think most new bitcoiners need your informative videos.
thanks for sharing your personal experience with BTC. These dips are all apart of the space and if you intend to survive and thrive in this community you must be able to weather the storm and see the bright future ahead.
I feel sorry for the Noobs getting out of Bitcoin with a loss when Bitcoin could easily be worth 40k next year and when they realize the true loss..
1st channel i ever smashed that bell :)
I think it's Xmas and people sold for money. I feel it still correct itself after Christmas. It's human nature to want cash right now.
Thanks for sharing your valuable information and your emphasis on knowledge acquisition!
Thank you, Ivan! You're one of my favorite crypto experts 👍🏾
Years I have, young I am , IOTA all the way :D
Ragnar me too
Me 2
lol IOTA is trash - please do some research
any advice?
Can u recommend any reviews on IOTA, because one review says this, the other says that. I don't know how to interpret the value of IOTA: either its gold, either its shit. No in betweens with this coin
Wow , how Ivan has grown his confidence ❤ Love going back and watching these video's. Seeing people who brought Bitcoin for 100 dollar's 😆
Isn't bitcoin undergoing hyper-deflation this year?
I think its time to buy
👍
Ryan Tyre nooo! Stop trading.
?
Ryan Tyre until it will be 12500
If you'd have bought sub 13k you'd have already made 18%
I am a new investor and I panicked nd sold all the investment at the lowest after checking mny forecasts which suggested it'll go even low....
I want to invest again....now it's going back up....any guesses that it'll go down again and I wait for that to invest? Or do I invest now?
Long time investors please give ur valuable opinions
Wise words Ivan. Hodl, educate yourself and drink tea! Great channel!
Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us.
I'm going to buy your course. Legend.
I'm not sure what to think about that.
was XBOX live taking payments in bitcoins back in 2010 or so? I think I remember seeing that
This year is the end of bitcoin, What happening in south korea now is just the beginning
What was happening in south korea?
Hard to say the beginning of what or the beginning of the end ... don’t loose time ! Learn to code
Not just knowledge. People with nerves of steel bet with money they can afford to lose. Those who do not are nervous wrecks
Well said, I agree with everything you shared!
Ivan, tell us about Hashgraph! Is Hashgraph the blockchain / bitcoin killer?
OMG. Ivan, I am impressed! Perfect Speech about price.... but please keep talk not about price :)
Do you think Hashgraph or Tangle will win out?
I really enjoyed watching this video and learned something new. Do you have any recommendations where to start investing for beginners?
Thank you Ivan....great video!
Well said. I share pretty much exact same view point on the situation. I can sign under this with my hands and legs...
