Welcome to Senpapi's Hard Will Guide (2023 edition).

Before you enter Will, you need PREFERABLY 1140 ARC.
In order to deal 100% damage to him, you need 760 ARC.
760 x 1.5 = 1140, therefore you deal 150% damage to him.
(This boss fight is difficult - you should only attempt with 1140 or more.)
Level also matters.
You get a damage boost for being higher level than a boss.
According to MapleWiki, Hard Will is exactly Lv. 250 for reference.
The higher the better. Cadena link helps if you're higher than Will.
You unlock Will at Lv. 235 but obviously do not attempt HARD this early.
DO NOT attempt Hard Will until you're near endgame stats.
(Unless you like sitting in boss fights for like 30 minutes. Gross.)
You need certain damage and stats, 8k legion, full link skill page for bossing, etc. PLEASE grind this out before attempting Hard Will - or simply just enter practice mode and see if you can dish out reasonable amounts of damage.
If you're not ready for Hard Will solo, just try Normal. No shame in that.
The difference between each difficulty level (Easy/Normal/Hard) is simply his HP bar getting beefier & the rate at which moonlight regenerates.

Hard Will checklist:
1. Take off True Arachnid Reflection (Will Node).
2. Take off Rope Lift & Decent Holy Symbol.
3. You must take Erda Nova (it's a bind skill, look for the blue circle skill icon in V-matrix) because it is very useful for "double binding" Will in all phases.
4. Will of Erda (it's the 5th job version of Hero's Will - removes status ailments).
5. To amplify your damage even further, you want Fatal Strikes I (Special Node that expires in a few days).
6. For dummies like me who suck at P3, absolutely use resistance link (Spirit of Freedom) which is from Blaster, Mechanic, Battle Mage, and Wild Hunter to Lv. 120.

Do you still need healing familiar if you’re a bishop? Does bishop heals work in p2?
tornado in P1 can actually be TP'ed through, if your class's teleport is far enough
You can buy the potion pot from the cash shop for 700nx it is not pot locked for phase 2 and it’s also not pot locked for vhilla 3 sec cool down does not work in bm during curse
too much going on in Will fight :S spider legs sniping you relentlessly....red balls....watch his eyes blinking all simultaneously.....blink is praticly a must have to animation cancel//no delay to move

I'm not sure if they changed how familiar HP stacks, but I believe you need to have 3 *unique* large HP lines.
- Continually restores a large amount of HP
- Continually restores a large amount of HP to nearby allies
- Continually restores a large amount of HP to party members
- Continually restores the party's HP by a large amount
^ Most of these lines have HP or HP & MP variants.
