One amongst many who are in debt and grateful for all your efforts Shri Rajiv Malhotra - thank you!
Prolific author Aditi Banerjee's articulation "Malhotra's Call to Action", an excerpt from her review of the book, is included below for ready reference; thank you Srimati Aditi Banerjee for the same.
    indiafacts.org/the-battle-for-sanskrit-a-battle-we-cannot-afford-to-lose/
"Malhotra’s Call to Action - A Call We Must Heed
In many ways, this is Malhotra’s most challenging book yet. The subject matter is tough and vast in scope. It requires deep study. Pollock is not obnoxious in his writings or overtly anti-Hindu the way Doniger and her ‘children’ have been. To engage him meaningfully requires deep research and careful study.
Much is at stake. Mere armchair activism will not suffice. We have to assert ownership over our own traditions. We have to study our traditions and define them for ourselves. For, the core problem is not what Pollock and others are doing. The core problem is what we ourselves have not done. We have abdicated our responsibilities towards Dharma. We have not preserved our Sanskrit manuscripts; we have not created classics libraries of our own; we have not written proper English translations of our shastras.
It is a very sorry state of affairs indeed. Our traditional institutions of religious learning were destroyed by the British and have yet to be rebuilt. Sanskrit is studied more seriously outside of India than within India. There are no proper Hinduism studies or Indology programs in India, none that would rival the clout of Harvard or the University of Chicago. The study of Indic civilization, the history of our people and our lands, the substance of our religious traditions, are being researched and written about not by us but by those who are studying us from the outside.
In this vacuum, in this complete absence of a Hindu ‘home team’ of scholars, it is inevitable that others would step in and take up the mantle we have discarded. If we do not take up ownership of our own traditions, if we do not invest the resources to study and practice and preserve them, it is inevitable that others will rewrite our history and samskriti for us. And in the process we will have lost that which is the most valuable to us, that which defines us and binds us together.
And this is the central challenge and plea embedded in Malhotra’s book, that we must realize before it is too late the game that is being played by the other side, what is at stake in this battle, how is it to be fought, and then we must act. We have to rebuild our traditional institutions of learning. We have to develop a generation of Hindu scholars immersed in the tradition and yet also conversant in Western philosophy and lingo and savvy enough to debate and debunk it. We have to stop outsourcing the work of studying and teaching our samskriti. Hindus can no longer afford to be content with taking shortcuts to learn about Hinduism from TV serials or Facebook posts or articles in the mainstream media. We must delve deep into our tradition, into the primary sources, into the wonders of Sanskrit. We must learn and experience for ourselves the great treasures of spirituality, philosophy, ethics and literary masterpieces bestowed upon us by our ancestors. The battle for Sanskrit is on, and it is a battle we cannot afford to lose."

As always a brilliant exposition by Rajivji. He also in all his talks adds extremely relevant and interetsting nuggets of information from Indian history, science & technology, medicine which reflect the main thrust of his talk much like the string of jewels that he speaks about in Indra's Net - concept mentioned as the Avatamsaka Sutra

I've to disagree a bit with rajivji's comment (1:06:34 to 1:06:57) that discovery of so called electricity has nothing to do vedas=atma or divine or god.. Electro-magnetic field which is part of akashic field is mentioned in Rig Veda. Point is the root ideas which came from Vedic wisdom were used by western scientists (who were NO rishis) to form their theories and just validated them mathematically/experimentally.
    1. Electromagnetic field, conversion of mass and energy - Rig veda 10: 72.
    2. Physically, electricity generated is intended for the betterment and benefit of mankind, but it depends on man’s tendencies whether to use it constructively or destructively. The Almighty is seen in the form of electricity. It (He) creates the cycle of time. It cannot be captured in physical form anywhere. Thus, all good work can be performed only because of the might of the Almighty (electricity)-Yajur Veda 32:2
Following information taken from capt Ajit vadakayil blog
Consider this Sanskrit verse written by Maharishi Agastya in Agastya Samhita , 7000 years ago. (DC current in batteries)
    "Sansthapya Mrinmaya Patre Tamrapatram Susanskritam
    Chhadyechhikhigriven Chardrarbhih Kashthpamsubhih
    Dastaloshto Nidhatavyah Pardachhaditastah
    Sanyogajjayte Tejo Mitravarunsangyitam
    Anen Jalbhangosti Prano Daneshu Vayushu
    Evam Shatanam Kumbhanamsanyogkaryakritsmrita"
A clean copper plate is put in an earthenware vessel. It is covered first by copper sulfate and then moist sawdust. After that put a mercury-amalgamated-zinc sheet on top of an energy known by the twin name of Mitra-Varuna. Water will be split by this current into Pranavayu and Udanavayu. A chain of one hundred jars is used to give a very strong electricity.
Mitra is cathode , Varuna is anode , Pranavayu is oxygen, Udanavayu is hydrogen, Ghritachi is earthen ceramic beaker, Shata Kumbh is 100 cells in series to convert chemical energy to electrical energy, Apsara is water tight vessel..
Ancient Vedic technologists produced six kinds of electricity, viz:
    1. Tadit-the one produced by friction from leather or silk,
    2. Saudamini-that produced by friction from gems or glass,
    3. Vidyut-produced from clouds or steam,
    4. Shatakoti alias Shatakumbhi-that produced from a battery of hundreds of cells,
    5. Hradini-that obtained from storage cells,
    6. Ashani-the one emanating from a magnetic rod.
    3. Hymn XXXI-- Atharva Veda 5000 BC
"Taa Vajrinam Mandinam Stomyam mad indram rathe vahato haryataa haree
Purunyasmay savanaani haryata indraaya somaa harayo dadhanwire"
Those two speedily moving forces of attraction and repulsion propel the electric current, powerful like the thunderbolt, pleasant and praiseworthy, in this pleasant plane or vehicle. Manifold are the generating powers for the refulgent electricity borne by speedy moving Somas - various kinds of liquid fuels.
"Asmay Bheemaaya namasaa samadhwara usho na shubhra aa bharaa paneeyase
Yasya dhaam shravase naamendriyam jyotirkaari harito naayase"
O well-versed engineer make use of this terrible electric power fit to be utilized for useful purposes by controlling it, for non-violent, brilliant light like the dawn. It has the potentiality to help hearing, control energy and spread light in all quarters.
    "Tvametam janrajyo dwidarshaabandhuna sushrvasopajagmushah
Pashisht sahastra navati nava shruto ni chakrena rathya dushpadavrinak"
O electricity, you can by your circular motion like the wheel of a chariot, which is too powerful to be checked, well keep under control all these 20 basic elements, 6099 organic and inorganic bodies, by a single transmitter of high quality, with no other force to help it.
The electric battery was used in ancient India to create medical Ozone from electrolysis of water charged with fresh Tulsi or Basil leaves.. The Basel Mission at Calicut took this technology and patented it in the name of German Jew Christian Frederick Schonbein who taught Chemistry at the University of Berlin..
Much later in September 1896, the super- genius Nikola Tesla who took keen interest in Vedic science , patented his first ozone generator, and formed the Tesla Ozone Co. Tesla sold ozone machines and ozonated olive oil to doctors for medical use.
You will notice that till they enslaved India, the Christian white man was terribly short of original ideas. Suddenly average white guys became geniuses, in the 17th , 18th, 19th and 20th centuries.. And we all were wondering, where is the catch?
They were in denial , till the IT age-- when the world famous Universities found that the Indians in the Electronics and Computer science strains really had superior grey matter.
"India - The land of Vedas, the remarkable works contain not only religious ideas for a perfect life, but also facts which science has proved true. Electricity, radium, electrons, airship, all were known to the seers who founded the Vedas." --Wheeler Wilcox

+kashsoldier Wendy Doniger goes to criticize Hinduism in a cheap way with half baked knowledge. Worst of all she holds a "PhD" and calls herself a Sanskrit "scholar" #facepalm . When we reject such false allegations, we should reject false compliments too. Let us listen to our Gurus like Shankaracharyas etc. Spiritualism is all about Moksha (liberation) for the soul. Materialism is Maya (illusion). I am pretty sure none of the translations are authentic. Did those guys learn Vedas from a Guru? Did they go through Upanayana, Vedadyana, Veda Bashyas? Did the study all the Shruti/Smriti/Puranas? Why give importance to western "scholars" who have half-baked knowledge on our scriptures? Who are they to certify our scriptures?

+kauzik Why give imprtance to any psychological authority on questions such as truth, god.etc. ? Why should anyone believe anothers idea of god, whether christian, muslim or the various hindu ideas.?

    • @Nithin90

+kashsoldier Those same seers already foretold what will take place in India in the future if it is not happening already.
      Bhagavatham
      - "Marriage will cease to exist as a holy union, men and women simply live together on the basis of bodily attraction and verbal agreement, and only for sexual pleasure Women wander from one man to another. Men no longer look after their parents in their old age, and fail to provide for their own children. One's beauty is thought to depend on one's hairstyle. Filling the belly is said to be the only purpose in life. Cows are killed once their milk production drops. Atheism flourishes. Religious observances are performed solely for the sake of reputation."
Our Future is Happening Now. Our country may get rich again through the make in India initiative but as far as everything else about our past glory including religion will slowly vanish.
Even if there is no hope, I still wish to see an India where we no longer teach the foreigners perception of India or "indology" as history at least. Thanks for all the knowledge you provided.

Every video of his is an eye opener. He is empowering average Indian with right India narrative which was distorted deliberately by, Nehru, leftist authors like Romila Thappr and westerners for years. The govt still has a herculean task to correct the history books which treats our freedom fighters like Veer Sawarkar, Bhagat Singh and many more as terrorist. May he live for 100+ years. Each Hindus should do more research on our ancient scriptures to be enlightened and should stand firm and not be apologetic to western world. #LearnSanskrit

A point to ponder, for ALL of us: Every child growing in India, in his/her early years, irrespective of region, varna, jaathi learns "Tinkle Tinkle Little Star..." as a first. Can we not get our own?
We are at a point where we don't seem to have alternatives!

Swadeshi Indology can begin with our own compilation of History (with our own scholars)... based on available research starting with the ancient history and scriptures..and refuting the so called pseudo theories like that of Aryan invasion theories, Dravidian divide etc etc... Indian Philosophy may not be included here in our compilation.. as it can be left to each of the Sampradayas and lineage of traditional Acharyas..maybe a high level briefing of Philosophy can be included in our compilation of Swadeshi Indology..then move on to the compilation of other aspects of Indology over time..based on research and traditions.. this compilations and standardising the Swadeshi Indology may take decades, but we may give it a start as it evolves...

    Namo namah Shri guru ji,
Even after loosing 80 % we still have many traitors and sold out deshwasi...
I preach people to have poorvpaksha technique today for todays issues but still many are lazy ignorant and micro optimised.
One of my old friend asked me to stop this poorvapaksha because according to her, board exam tension of her daughter is more important than any other societal issues!!!
To save few amount of money today people buy cheap products from countries like China and other neighbouring countries...i explained them that please look into broader picture of this....today if you buy cheap toys or things from amazon or china or from other sources who are funding terror activities n breaking Bharat forces then tomorrow you wont have even Bharat to live in or your family wont be alive to enjoy your things which you bought from these sources....very very few people listen and hardly even after listening follow!!!!
One of my frn adviced me that, we have just 1 life here on earth so we should not fall into trap of politics or try to bring change because it will never happen. we should enjoy every moment and stop thinking about worrying issues.
I asked her that if we will think like this then who will think about our next gen? She replied...its nonsensical thing to even think like that...her kids will manage when they grow up and lets enjoy now and only talk good things and positive issues only!!!!!
I am fed up from those foolish people's arguement....evennthough all of them are Master degree holder and few are university toppers!!! from science and engineering fields!!!!
But I will continuevto work relentlessly for our desh and coming generation untill my last breath.

Everybody mistook the one GOD of Hinduism.
This material world is diverse. When you examine it closely you will find diverse material are three things PROTON, ELECTRON AND NEUTRON. That is Three Gunas our Rishis mentioned as Satwam,RAJAS AND THAMAS( neutron is dark particle). Then you deeply examine this particle you will come to know that really one thing .All matter is energy. Now there are two different thing Lifeless material and life force.
When you closely observe again. You will find that there are different type of energy ,all are interchangeable. One energy we can convert to another form using a suitable device
Light energy plant can convert to life force (consciousness) .So material world is consciousness itself. That is adwaitha of our RISHIS.
Even if everything is same in finest form. When you are thirsty you need water, Bread will not solve your thirst. Same way God is one. Enormous number of spiritual body having different healing powers is a reality. God need not require any offering .In Hinduism Nothing is offering to BRAHMAN (OM). But we have to offer flower and other thing to Devi and devatas(Architype)Because they are living BEING like as who depend on BRAHMAN. But they are super powers and can solve our material problem. THIS IS THE TEACHING OF SREE NARAYANA GURU OF KERALA and ALL RISHIS OF INDIA. Everything in this world we are seeing is Midhya(not real) in past and future. Now I am seeing an apple in front of me .Presently it is real. When you search this apple in 10 years back, this apple was not present at 10 year back. If you search this apple after 10 year you will not get this apple. So apple is only real in present time. When you consider this universe, it was not same in the past. In future also it is not going to be same.
ONE THING THAT IS SAME IN THE FUTURE PRESENT AND PAST IS BRAHMAN (CONCIOUSNESS) ONLY. That is the essence of everything. SO BRAHMAN SATYAM JAGAT MIDHYA.(world IS NOT REAL ONY BRAHMAN REAL). Everything is real including cloud at present. For a wise world is real because he is in the present. This is the teaching of Sree Narayana Guru
I born in Kerala (south India) a predominant Christian Area. At least Weekly one time some Christians coming to my home and asking Why you are worshipping IDOL. Do you think it will save you. Now I know that calling GOD by name. sound is one form of energy. I am worshipping Idol that is Manifested form of energy. SO both I and they are worshing same thing ,but different form of energy.
HINDU VEDA ADVICE IS THIS- If a truth is told by a child accept it. If an untruth is told by creator brahma reject it. This type of freedom I think no religion in the world is ever allowed
Bible says that you do not worship other than me .That means Bible also saying other power present. If no Other God why God went to Egypt and Killed new born child because their only Crime is they pray to other God. So all religion says that t lot of God, but worship a particular God. Hinduism says that only one God (Brahman),but crores of divine powers .That is reality

I will try to explain it as clearly as possible:
First of all, it is very bigoted to think that descendants of a particular lineage have been stupid and weak for 5000 years and more. So weak, that they allowed other lineage people to trod upon them. Will anybody call their lineage so impotent? NO! No one lineage was discriminated for all time in history.
Second if you see today that there is a very high probability of a Doctor to have some doctor as his/her parents. Same with engineers. That's because every parent wants his/her child to go beyond what he/she has done in life. Also, automatically the child of a doctor or an engineer gets extra advantage from very childhood. Like how I was prepared well in Maths by my engineer father.
Now, imagine a society divided by Gunas into 4 classes: Learners, Warriors, Business, Workers. Its pretty obvious that slowly and slowly the society will start converging towards a collection of families with similar profession.
Now add to that the continuous flow of invaders who will take every measure to use this division for better consolidation of their rule.
It were the british who first codified the "caste" in their laws and policies. Caste is not a word in any Indian language. Its implementation and use was essentially European. Also, you guessed right. The forest people were usually outside this 4 part society. But the britishers forcefully codified them too in the same caste hierarchy. "Tribe" was derogatory word used for people who loved to live in forests closest to nature. It meant barbaric and uncivilized.
Please remember that there have been so-called Dalit rulers as well in past 2000 years. Like Nanda dynasty of Magadh. Alexander and his army were so afraid to fight them that they ran away without conquering Magadh. And still we call him Alexander the great who ruled the 'world' .
Even as a child I used to frown at such inconsistencies in the history taught to us. I don't understand how the libtards can't see such simple things which even a child objects.

I would like to correct you on your first point : According to Gita
चतुर्वर्ण्या मया सृष्टं गुणकर्मविभागशः ! तस्य कर्तारमपि मां विद्धयकर्मारमव्ययम !! १३ !! Which means As God says " I have created four vernas on the basis of "gunas" and "karma". Every manifested being has three gunas : 1. satva, 2. rajas, 3. tamas in more or less quantity and quality. (Q1 Answered). The gunas are manifested in everyday life and karma, and with the practice of Yoga, Bhakti, Dnyaan, Kaam, Artha, Tantra, etc. (Q2-Q2.a Answered). Please try to understang the subtle nature of the teaching here. A mans birth decides gunas but his karmas in the one life make him take higher or lower birth in another life (Q3.a Answered) An endless cycle of birth and death. (Q.3 Answered) the test of equality, nowadays people have fashion to apply it to anything, cannot be taken out of context. Eg. you cannot say a dog is equal to a man, or a blind person is equal to a deaf. The Valmiki was the son of a fishermen but with his karma and tapasya became a great rishi/sage who wrote ramayana(Q4.a Answered). I think it is the right of everyone to get educated, I'm still doing it..hope it helps...God Bless Everyone.

+Selva wo ai ni My dear selva before understanding cast sytem(i.e. Varna syatem)first thing we hav to clear then there is no up to down hierarchy,it is just based on gunas and four varnas r like equal plane but later on meaning been distorted second thing when we call LOWER BIRTH that doest mean taking birth in lower cast because ther is no like lower and upper but it siply means person birth having not carring much sattwic guna therefore he fill not show natural tedency to strive for MOKSHA although he may take birth in any cast but later on if he strive realy hard then he can change his PRARABDHA and can b most lovable Bhakt as mentioned in GEETA a person may b as sinful but if he strive with very strong and persistant desire towards me then he would b considered as my most lovable Bhakta.

Materialism would have no influence on our compiling our own Swadeshi Indology and we the Indians consuming the Swadeshi Indology.. and the materialism would have no impact to our way of life and our life principles and our religion.. How would materialism dominate us in the above principles and way of life unless we allow the western culture (of open relationships, filthy cinemas, corrupted media, filthy contents in Internet.. atheistic propaganda religious conversions etc these are the ways the western culture and the misuse of technology (internet etc) enter our children and homes etc etc) to penetrate further...

the first thing we have to do is to convert our precious things in English or other languages by our authentic people like he mentioned....English speaking Sanya sis .only then the learned idiots will not dump thier money in fakes. a very little sanskrit scholars fully understand your English book. why can't you convert in sanskrit ...may be a copy in your Web site with a nominal fee of course

+sadanandan palaniswamy Why sanskrit is needed.? Sanskrit was used by a bunch of caste-believing superstitious oppressors. Why buddha didnt write book in Sanskrist and chose Pali instead because the common people couldnot access Sanskrit.

I would like to inform that i disagrre with the person who is wearing pink shirt and asking question to Shriguru Rajiv ji...I am living in a cosmopolitan city Bengaluru and many parents here are working class. They hardly get time to tell stories about our great rishis or personalities.
Even pooja are not done in homes now a days.
Its only party things going around.
I dont know how this gentleman still thinks that we are living in those golden era of cultural values which were taught and were practiced inour society.
For any function or festival, pop, disco' item no etc are performed by kids...and even their grand parent n parent join in such dances and shows.......they do fashion show .....ladies vs men show....all these non sense things are becoming part of our regular mind set...esply girls n women dress and act cheap...
In famous temple named Rajarajeshwari there are many kids who are being trained to be future pandits . They live n practice brahmanical things but they are not taught other subjects!!!! they only know to chant mantra but they cant debate with a person who is well versed in some other tradition.....its a total waste of talented kids time n age....pandits hardly care!!!!

Were the shudras allowed to use Sanskrit.?
Hinduism has a hideous history of oppressing its own followers. It is violent in an introvert way. Talk about the treatment of lower classes. Yes most religions will at times call for killing and persecuting the non-believers or atheists, but Hinduism has a distinction of persecuting its own. It is institutionalized in the religion. I think you have only followed the pretty bits of the religion, a classic cherry picker. All religions do that, Hindusim is unique in that it does it to its own followers, the aggression, bigotry and injustice is directed inside not outside the religion unlike the Abrahamic faiths.
Saying that anyone who has an opposite view is an opponent lowers you to the category of the christian and muslim religious crackpots. It is very similar in the west where the christian morons label any eastern techniques as occult or Satanic.
