I lost my son August 5th of 2020. Just 2 months shy of hi 28th birthday. I had not seen him talked to him for 5 years. A friend of his told us that he was excited and happy, he had just bought a bus ticket to come home. He said he missed us. So I can imagine what you're going through. There will be a time when it will be to much for you to hold in you and you will need to release it all with a primal scream. Just let it out. Don't hold back. And cry all you feel like crying. Don't let anyone tell how morn or feel or what is acceptable. You lost your son. No matter how old he was your baby. You don't have to be strong. God is strong for you. I know it doesn't seem like it now but you will smile again one day. You will also never be the same again. For me I'm having a good day and then all of a sudden I'm crying like a baby and my heart is breaking again. It could be the smell of his sent in the air. A boy that does something like he did. A picture. Anything. Other parents tell this is how it will always be. I found some comfort in his death by his journal's he left behind. He had finally given his life to God before he died. That helped. I pray that the Lord will give you comfort. I am so very sorry. 🙏💜🫂
