The fact that we have not hit 22k yet is crazy. King Kong ain't got nothing on India. So let's support our home girl by like commenting and subscribing it's all free... Road to 50k
How is that crazy... their have been many police dept that the fbi had to gut to get rid of corruption. LA in the 50s and 90s, new orleans in the 90s, a town near chicago had its how police force replaced in the 80s
29:43 It wasn't actually a coincidence. If you go back to the scene in the alleyway, Alonzo (Denzel Washington) asks Letty what family she's with and she tells him. Alonzo purposefully sets Hoyt up to be killed by the family of someone he saved. But in that scene, Alonzo leaves the alley /before/ Hoyt finds Letty's wallet so he didn't know Hoyt would have something on him linking Hoyt to her. Alonzo tells Hoyt that Hoyt reminds him of himself. But these days Alonzo is totally corrupt. He's trying to prove (to himself, to the audience of the movie, or whatever) that idealism will only get you killed. But the joke's on him, because it's actually what saves Hoyt's life.
Denzel had too much fun playing Alonzo, lol! In an interview, the director said that Denzel improvised 70 percent of his lines, including the famous line "King Kong ain't got shit on me!" His Oscar win for Best Actor for Training Day was well deserved! 🔥
If you liked Training Day you will love The Departed! Plus it will get you a lot of online attention. My first time on your channel, you did a great job.
This is one of Denzel Washington’s best movies. Can you please do the following movies: A Soldier’s Story Glory Mo’ Better Blues Ricochet Malcolm X Philadelphia Virtuosity He Got Game Devil In A Blue Dress John Q American Gangster Flight
Masterpiece of a movie. It was loosely based on a real LAPD cop part of “Rampart” division, i forgot the real officer’s name but they were known to be corrupt.
What makes it worse is if you watch the deleted scenes, smiley was supposed to kill Hoyt and burn his body in front of his family. It adds a more disturbing element to the plot
The actress that played Denzel's girlfriend, Eve Mendez, is Ryan Gosling's girl in real life. The first money that Denzel stole is a famous singer. Do you recognize her?
Denzel won awards for this role, but it had black people feeling some kind of way, like, he finally won after getting no flowers for playing Malcolm X , but damn, of all the roles he had done they awarded him for playing a grimey ass black cop?!
After Jake walks away after he shot Lonzo in the ass that the director in the recent interview said everything Denzel said after that was off the top of his head it wasn't in the script that goes to show you how good of an actor Denzel is
The movie screen is the size of a postage stamp. If you make the movie screen take up the entire screen with your face i a small bubble you'll get more views and that will mean more money for you. Just a thought.

My favorite Denzel performance in a movie.
Charming, threatening, smooth and dangerous.
Night shift gang 💯 There is nothing better than that feeling when you slip in bed on a rainy morning after a 12hr shift
Denzel was scary in this!
SAY THAT AGAIN ! LMAOOO
I agree. Denzel Washington's character was scary, in this one. Maybe that's why Denzel won an ACADEMY AWARD for this film.
The fact Denzel's character was based off a real cop is crazy
Yup. The Rampart Scandal.
That’s FACTS!!!

"His acting was phenomenal"
That's why he was nominated an Oscar for this movie
Not just nominated, he won on Oscar for this movie.

Classic
Denzel Washington is the greatest of all time
One of all time faves. Not very often you get a perfect movie and Training Day is one of them.
"His acting is phenomenal in this one."
Yes it is. The scene you said that during is one of the greatest acted scenes of all-time imo.
FYI a ditch party is not a party in a ditch. It's a ditching school party.
34:51 Knowing that all of this was improvised is MAGNIFICENT!!!
Denzel had too much fun playing Alonzo, lol! In an interview, the director said that Denzel improvised 70 percent of his lines, including the famous line "King Kong ain't got shit on me!" His Oscar win for Best Actor for Training Day was well deserved! 🔥
Man on Fire if you haven’t seen it would be awesome
yesss
The scene in the street Alonzo speech was not written. Denzel just went in his bag.
What bag? Drugs?
@@azazello1784 meaning Denzel improvised the majority of that speech.
If you liked Training Day you will love The Departed! Plus it will get you a lot of online attention. My first time on your channel, you did a great job.
It’s on here and on patreon
Hey boo! Great movie and great reaction 💜
Macy Gray. She said in an interview she took the part just to meet Dezel.
Besides "X" & later "Man On Fire", all the other Denzel flicks like this just blend together in my head. Dont remember.😅
See ya.
✌️🌎❤️

@ You had the Denzel Washington collection.
Masterpiece of a movie.
It was loosely based on a real LAPD cop part of “Rampart” division, i forgot the real officer’s name but they were known to be corrupt.
Classic. Denzel earned that Oscar. It's a shame really. He should have had 4 Oscar's by then. He had to play a bad guy to get one.
What makes it worse is if you watch the deleted scenes, smiley was supposed to kill Hoyt and burn his body in front of his family. It adds a more disturbing element to the plot
Great reaction❤

This was based on a real cop pulling this stuff in the 90s. He got arrested though.
Denzel won awards for this role, but it had black people feeling some kind of way, like, he finally won after getting no flowers for playing Malcolm X , but damn, of all the roles he had done they awarded him for playing a grimey ass black cop?!
20:02 It’s Denzel. Yo mama and grandma want him
I'd really like it if you reacted to the Denzel movie "Fences"
After Jake walks away after he shot Lonzo in the ass that the director in the recent interview said everything Denzel said after that was off the top of his head it wasn't in the script that goes to show you how good of an actor Denzel is
Stop it.. He just got lucky. He is useless
