Im losing my mind because I could have sworn that InDesign had a vertical text tool option under the text tool; but then again Adobe has their own baffling logic. This seems such a convoluted process to do something that I'm sure would be a pretty common /desirable layout option.

Just make a vertical text box, then type each letter and hit return. Then center everything in the text box.

Oh boy, Adobe, why so difficult? And the difference in spacing between letters hurts eyes.
