Prehistoric is right! That's the main reason I love ferns! They just look like they're from another time. And this specific plant is a PERFECT example of that! So cool😎

I love the leaves on that Fibrosum. They look like silk cloth. My top 5 for this year in my collection are: Ficus Ruby, Ficus Burgundy, Ficus Tineke, Monstera Deliciosa and last but not least is my Aglaonema Maria. Thanks for the video.

Thanks for sharing! Ooh those fuzzy petioles are super cool, I would just pet them all day lol. Let’s see top 5 faves this year, probably my boobie cactus, syngonium pink splash, watermelon peperomia, starfish snake plant, and my bubble plant.

Gorgeous plants! My favorites for the year are:
Monstera Deliciosa because it’s huge and I’ve been able to prop it and share with lots of friends
Staghorn ferns because they are so interesting to watch grow
Black Velvet Alocasia, just love its gorgeous leaves
Rex begonia ring of fire, so pretty
    And …
My lipstick plants because they both gave me tons of flowers this year
It’s a fun challenge! I might give you a different answer next week because I love them all! Thanks for a great year of content. Don’t work too hard!

Aww.. I once had an Australian Fern. Mine got very big in a short time. I could almost see it unfurling. The heat went out in the house that Winter and I left the State.

Gurl go on and flex 💪🏽 that Maranta is just 😍stunning (in a terracotta pot and tap water!!!) and that FERN 😱 two plants that give me THE most issues (Calathea’s and Ferns) Gurl you bad!!!! 💃🏽💃🏽💃🏽💃🏽twirl Sista. My top five plants of 2021: 1. Peace Lilly - hearty plant, has endured a lot but keeps putting out new leaves and blooms, 2. Monstera - just has grown so much. I think I have had to repot it 3x’s., 3. Hoya Cranosa compacta - slow grower but so interesting to look at, and it hasn’t died, so that’s a plus. 4. Tineke Ficus - this plant has given me more problems with the type of water, not enough humidity and size of the leaves. I am going to put it outside in the Summer to see if that makes any difference ( I worry about pests) and last my but not least my favorite of 2021 is 5. My Croton! So beautiful and produces new leaves like crazy. You just have to give her A LOT of light and consistent watering. I know my plants are not “rare” but I love them 🥰 and I enjoy your videos. 60 hours is way too many hours for you to work Ayana and not sustainable. 💚🪴

Definitely the Tineke for me!!! I separated mine early in the summer, had one pot with 2 trees, and a small pot with a cluster of mini 'trees'. Left them out my terrace til mid fall and now they're inside still pushing growth!!! I'm in love with their leaves!!! 😍😍😍
