You have explained about copy command when interviewer asked for stages...I think you should have explained about external stages and snowpipe alerts to explain whether file has received or not. Result cache stored in cloud services layer not in storage layer. Correct me if I am wrong. Time travel - maximum retention period is 90 days, fail safe is 7 days. Default retention period is 1 day. Maximum retention period is 1 day for standard edition. No fail safe. We can customise retention period between 0 to 90 days for higher editions than standard edition.
"Thank you for your detailed feedback! 🙏 You're absolutely right about the stages-external stages and Snowpipe alerts play a crucial role in tracking file uploads, and I should have elaborated more on that. Regarding the result cache, great point-it's stored in the cloud services layer as you mentioned, not the storage layer. For Time Travel, I appreciate the detailed explanation about the retention periods. I'll make sure to clarify the maximum and customizable retention periods based on the edition in future content. Your input helps improve the quality of my videos-thanks again for sharing this!"
Good answers by the candidate except for two things. One, he should have underscored the fact that materialized views can be built only on a single table, not multiple tables. I am not sure if that has changed now but I doubt it. Second, why did he pass up the opportunity to ask questions to the interviewer? That's a big no no! He should have inquired about the project, the tech stack or the current challenges etc. with the interviewer. My two cents.
Your feedback is valuable, and I will definitely keep these points in mind for future interviews. Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts.
Hi there! i have a question . when the interviewer asked about the bottom layer you told about the database storage layer , so in the documentation it is mentioned that database storage layer is the innermost layer so does innermost mean bottom layer in specific? and outermost layer means top layer?
we considered only the voice, cant upload with video. sorry for that. will try infuture with a mock interview with video. Please subscribe our channel for regular updates, its motivate us

Answer to this kind of questions, they donot answer 🤣🤣🤣🤣, that's KSR
Yes that’s correct. In depth the 3rd layer ( bottom layer) - Database Storage and top layer - metadata/cloud Services layer
