      I think it will work out well. The key is going to be queen quality as with everything else. I think these will be good queens. They came highly recommended. Time will tell.

    Poke salad season about over got my 2nd batch what else? Mowing lots of mowing : (Just stay in find things to do So it counter tops/ Put one on my deep freezer to butcher on and pastries/ and use as a storage or freezer too So its light solid wood top! out of 1 x 6 so i can easy lift it, and stay up

      Sure does! I’m using them for fast increase. To make nucs and to use as resource hives

    how u gonna split them after ? do u make 2 frame nuc ?

      Not on these hives. I try to explain my plan in the video. Maybe didn’t do a very good job. Next video will show how I actually did the splits if the footage is good.

    How do you keep rain out with holes in your lids when not feeding?

      I just leave the lids on and the bees propolize the holes. Even if they don’t there isn’t enough water dripping through to hurt them.

      it helps to face your hives South cause most storms come in threw the West and North Some till them to front to> i don't mine are level Cause i run SHB oil traps

    Man i have to use hip waders to get out in the yard! We got so much rain Sure has messed up swarm season Time they get out to look rain come and they for get where they was looking> 2 pretty days then a week of rain > this up coming time going to be 2 weeks of rain : ( DAM MOSQUITO'S GOING TO EAT US ALIVE! RIBBIT RIBBIT

      We had a lot of rain last year. So far this year has just about been right I think. The bees are packing it in!
