Amazing video guys , tons of wildlife there ! You are so lucky to spot humpback whales so close ! I went to Antarctica in February . Best experience of my life !
Hi, thanks for the amazing information! Could you or some body tell me please if it is necessary to bring 2 pairs of waterproof pants? Also, a tripod to take pictures with my mobile? I'm going next month to spend Christmas in Antarctica! Thanks!
if you have one good pair of waterproof pants you will be fine. As they typically won't saturate with water and a wipe down would have them ready for next outing later on in the day. You aren't allowed to sit or even crouch down typical, and tripods "can" be used, but would require proper cleaning in decantamination liquid upon return to boat. Honestly there are lots of people on shore with you at any given time and it would be easiest to ask someone to take some pics of you.
Excellent video! I am in the very early stages of planning my Antarctic trip. What month were you there? I have read that the most stunning sunsets are in November and March.
Yeah we went on the march 5th sailing. November is best for purely penguins and that white look, but if you want whales and other wildlife in addition to the penguins, march and tail end season is best.

I went with Quark to S. Georgia and Antarctica. Fantastic trip!
Your video is so stunning. I felt like I was watching Discovery or Nat Geo channel. Incredible imagery and editing.
Wow, thank you!
This camera is amasing...what did you use for these videos?

Thank you so much for your help! I don't want to complicate my life. 😁 I'll not bring a tripod. Thanks!
Excellent video. What size camera lenses would you recommend?
Ideally a 150-600mm
There are many options depending on the camera system you are using.

I'm going December! Did you book yet?
Hi fantastic video 😄 Is there anything you can not film or take photos on ship?
What do you mean?
👏
Whats the average cost ?
Across all boats or quark specifically?
