Glad you’re enjoying these videos. I think it’s a lot of fun to see old tools and stuff fixed up. I’m still hoping to paint this soon because the top box’s paint is a lot older than the bottom box.
I REALLY want to paint it and when I do you can bet there will be a video. Unfortunately the explorer is taking up the shop space right now and very little else can get done until I get that out. Definitely more to come!

I totally agree! I just haven’t even had the time for it. Luckily things slow down in the fall and winter, so hopefully I have time to tear it all apart and repaint everything.
I love old toolboxes, I’m addicted to these videos.

Nice toolbox and the puppy is cute.
Thanks! That dog is HUGE now.
Just picked up a massive old tool box and this was EXACTLY the video I needed. Thank you for sharing, and extra thank you for the timestamps
Congrats on the new toolbox. I'm still loving mine. Thanks for watching and providing feedback. It means a lot.
Don't know if you have any more videos on this restoration, but would love to see any additional work you've done on it!

1948 8N Ford Tractor, needing to replace rear wheel seals and brakes!
I always liked how the hood on that tractor looked like the Ford Coupe. Just looked great.
WD-40 is the best cleaner for tool boxes.
Do you have to rinse it?

No, but you can't paint it after that.
I would clean my 870 12 gage shotgun or my 350 modercycle
Dude! I would expect nothing less from you.
The boxes cleaner
Yeah... any soap would work with a ...wire brush? To a painted surface... no
