    Clear dirt away from forming onion bulbs. It's said to help bulb form. Clear away all down side of bulb. Roots are strong and will keep them standing up

    I love the garden tours. Your garden has a lot of depth. I love how you combine the different crops and then flowers around each other. Great chard harvest! They are so good.I planted rainbow for now. It doesn’t seems to bolt on me in summer like the green variety.

    You can also dehydrate that chard-on-steroids, grind it in a cheap grinder into powder, and store it for soups, sauces, smoothies, juicing, omelettes, sneak into kids' meals, etc.

    When you were pulling out those leaves and holding them up, it reminded me of the palm leaves they used to use in these old Bible movies waving a fan of cool air on the ladies and you know the kings and queens. You could easily do that with those leaves. They are gorgeous. I wish I could grow them like that. You have a beautiful garden area.

    I used up the last of the rainbow swiss chard seeds I bought back in 2020, and I thought it only had 3 varieties, but it had at least 6 varieties of different sizes shapes and colors, I just needed to let them get big enough to tell them apart. It also included some giant fordhook swiss chard, and ours are getting big, but they're not as huge as yours yet! WOW

    • @yeevita
      @yeevita 2 года назад +1

      People only take off suckers because they want to control the size of the fruit, the ripening of the fruit, and the space the plant takes up. If you have time and space, you can let your plant get giant with tons of fruit all over the place. It is interesting to let a tomato plant go wild. They really can be quite beautiful.
