Thank you Mike. Yes both Lynmouth and Lynton (at the top of the cliff) are well worth a visit. And you get to experience a fantastic road along the way. Thanks again, much appreciated 👍🏼
SHEER - MAGIC . Once again in the sun and no holiday traffic . I once ask a MR Tiller R.I.P. Who traveled to Cornwall , which counties had the best roads ? , and he said Cornwall and he lived in Christchurch in Dorset . He said even in 1941 when in the RAF he rode a motor bike while stationed in Redruth and the roads were the best on his trips home on leave . Thanks again for another fine video . take care .
Nice one Saddlebags, last time I was on that road got caught in heavy thunder and lightning with torrential rain and hale, boulders were on the road going up Porlock hill. I was on the way to stay with my friend's John, Jack and Valerie Babe at Ilfracombe. And on the the Royal Enfield Owners Club 40th birthday in Dorset. Thank you for bringing back the memory.
That was lovely. We, may family and I traveled from Minehead to Linmouth when we went on holiday a couple of years ago. It's such a lovely road with fantastic scenery.....I look forward to your next video of the roads in Cornwall. Bye Stuart
Christ mate the sped up bit was like being on board at the TT! Effortless overtaking on that Kwaker. Know some of these roads. Nearly burnt out a clutch following a slow van up Porlock hill! Great riding. I am fortunate to have the southerly start of the cotswolds near me. Some nice jaunts up around Castle Coombe. On a day like this who needs motorways. Living the dream mate. Sad story re Lynton/Lynmouth railway. A mates dog jumped to its death when he left it with a mate up top as he travelled down in it. Seemed dog couldn't be parted from him and tried to jump on the train! Nice job👍
I embarrassed an Audi on Porlock hill on my way home. You would have to slow it down to spot it in the vid, but he was trying. What a gorgeous area you’re in too! I steer clear of motorway/dual carriageway whenever possible. Bores the heck out of me. That is a sad story mate, awww. Poor thing, and how devastating for your mate. Thanks Pike! Is the bike run in yet?
@@Saddlebags73 not run in yet. Poor excuses but due to weather, work etc and running in my interceptor 650. Trying to split between the two bikes. Cheers
For views one of my favourite roads runs from Braunton to Croyde bay in Devon. Often stop with friends in Saltash so we get chance to ride both sides. Trouble is riding down there is holiday traffic during the summer. Great job with the vid👍
I can’t remember ever going to Croyde. I’ll have to take a peek sometime. It may be a bit quieter than usual this year, but then again.... Thank you sir 👍🏼
Haha, brilliant love it, haven't ridden into Cornwall for 25 years, the language barrier scares me 🤣 think I might have to take a trip down soon to try out some of these roads 👍👍
Nice ride, 377 is one of my best so far to Barnstaple, then to putsbough beech Croyde etc. Been wanting to do the Lynmouth run for a while now. And so many nice rides up that end. Alot of work went into that one. Nice ride 👍🍻 List now goes for me..... 1.devon 2.somerset 3.mosside 4. Hull 5. Cornwall
Maybe we could do a ‘show me your ride’ video. I’m not familiar with the Croyde area. Barnstaple to Lynmouth is outstanding, one for the bucket list. I like your list, I also like saving the best until last 🤣 Thanks E.R, take care 👍🏼🍻
Nice one Mate. A39 from Bath to Wadebridge part of the route you took is a great ride. And best of all your route took you to God's little green acre better known as Zummerset. Best ride I think I've enjoyed Boat of Garten through the Cairngorms to Blairgowrie.
Thanks mate! Bath? Dunno, must be foreign 😋 I must admit Zummerzet was gorgeous. But I got homesick 😂 I haven’t had the pleasure of riding in those places I can’t spell, but plan on venturing further 👍🏼
I’m not a RUclipsr but as a local to Minehead I think this road is right up there as one of the best in all England. especially Porlock to Lynmouth. I like the small road from Exford to Porlock as well
Hi there! Yes that’s an amazing road to ride. I’m not familiar with Exford to Porlock, but somehow I feel I’ll be heading that way again at some point.
Hi, thank you! I’ll keep that in mind, I plan on going there again this spring/summer. The tank bag is a Givi Xstream25 LT. Great bag if you don’t mind the bulkiness. I haven’t reviewed it, I’m not very good at reviews if I’m honest. Thank you for watching 👍🏼
I have never actually ridden that Devon road beyond Barnstaple. I will do very soon though. Someone told me about a woman who never left Lynton & Lynmouth. Imagine never leaving that place.
It is an amazing road. You have to ride it to appreciate it I think. Well Lynton and Lynmouth are gorgeous, but I don’t know about living my whole life there. Although I suppose in the olden days it was quite common for people not to venture far.
The A39 is a great road all the way from Falmouth to Bath. Porlock may be pretty but stinks of cooked brakes. Porlock hill is the steepest A road in the UK i believe.
Looks like I should explore further. I only knew Wadebridge to Barnstaple, and now Minehead. Haha, I didn’t smell brakes, but there was a good line of oil on a hairpin near the bottom. That’s an interesting fact, Cheers! Hope you’re well mate 👍🏼
Hi, that's a tricky one to respond to. They're all quite different. The 500's won't be available after 2020 sadly. I don't think there is a wrong choice in there. The new Royal Enfields are well built, and I don't doubt their reliability, but the Japanese bikes take some beating.
Top production values! Lynmouth is now on my list. Can't wait to see how Cornwall responds to that. Beautiful video - congratulations.
Thank you Mike. Yes both Lynmouth and Lynton (at the top of the cliff) are well worth a visit. And you get to experience a fantastic road along the way.

Hi Janner, thanks for watching.
And thanks for sharing your story. Sounds rough that does. All experience though eh!

Nothing like a motorbike ride through the beautiful British countryside on a sunny day. Brilliant!

beautiful places.
They are aren’t they. I love this world 🌍😍
From a Devonian's point of view the best road in Cornwall is the A38. Why? Because it's the quickest way out of Cornwall. Oh! and Jam on top..
Ouch! 😪
Haha it’s going to fun exploring the roads in both counties 😊
I still go jam first 😉
Ride safe!
Great video, when your in Lynton it always worth a detour into the valley of the rocks.
Which tank bag are you using and have you done a review of it?

I am confused between RE 500, RE 650 and CB500F. I wonder if RE is as durable as Japanese cars?
Hi, that's a tricky one to respond to. They're all quite different. The 500's won't be available after 2020 sadly.

Yes, I think production of the 500 has stopped. The 350’s will continue.

Has there been a holocaust. No e on the road and the sun is shining. When the roads are empty, most roads are great for biking on. I give it a draw
Kind of. I think it was shortly after Covid lockdowns.
Yep, it was a draw in the end 😊👍🏼
