Good vid. I installed some jbl 6.5 but they were a bit too tall and my rear dash won’t sit like before. I installed one 12” and I get bad rattle in the deck. I also had to order new clips.
How quick are these Honda Accords with the 6 speed manual ? I was looking into getting this or a Honda civic Si but I like the Accord because it's more spacious and it has a better suspension setup for daily driving since the Si is more sports oriented and it'll be harsh with the stiff suspension
this Accord is the sport trim so the suspension is stiffer than the LX or ex or touring. speed is something relative. it depends how fast you want to go. the Accord is more bulky and spacious but I don't believe it's as fast as the SI. the philosophy of Honda behind the Accord is that it's a family sleek sporty smooth sedan. it's not made to be really a fast car. I got the manual because it's more fun to drive and I like to have the control over the car. also the sport trim doesn't have the extra sensors that are there to replace the human eyes, ears and other human senses and also there is no touch screen and I like that
If you can find a honda accord coupe with the v6 , they'll blow the freakin doors off an si . My 2017 sedan v6 freakin flies . It seems almost as quick as my G37 and that thing is a beast . To answer your question (not that you asked me ) the 4 cylinder sports with the stick shift will do about 7.5 second 0-60 . You have to remember though, the k24 honda 4 cylinder is arguably the best 4 cylinder engine ever created . You could always add boost . Don't get that pos cvt transmission though .
after watching this video i would rather pay a speaker shop $300 to put new speakers in my rear dash... i'm not going to trash out my car like this boss man did... i wouldn't get it back together.... not sure if you got your's back together..... hmm
I have an 05 Civic and its a similar disassembly process. It's doable if you take your time..........but Honda really should have just made the grills pop out or bottom mounted the speakers from inside the trunk. I mean most of the trim is held in by plastic push pins, why not do the same for each grill instead of molding it to the entire rear trim assembly?

I never get why these have to be so difficult just let us remove the speaker grill lmao

Does this have the aibags on the side ?
Did you lose any bass with these speakers?
maybe a little bit, but the Hertz are so clear with a decent bass for me.

its very simple process. all clips and just few screws. you can buy spare clips anywhere :)
