WOW, I've never heard Lovers Concerto played this way before! I loved how it was composed! I had to go back to hear it over and over again, because I enjoyed it so much!!! So nice!!!
I wouldn't consider this a remake of the song from The Toys, The Toys adapted a Bach minuette to their style and this group did the same thing with the same minuette, but saying "blue grass Bach Minuette 2" (or whatever number it was, it's been a while since I've looked at Suzuki book 1) would only have somewhat well studied musicians knowing what that means.
+Brian Moore It's such a beautiful song that hold's special memories from my Northern Soul days especially as it was one of my late ex boyfriend Kevin Riches & my favouries.......................................................in loving memory - with love xXx
Such an awesome arrangement! So talented. It would have been nice if the audience held off on the clapping until the end though. I know they are showing support but it kind of tarnishes the performance. Listen, appreciate and clap later. =P
Seriously ??? This was a classic until you guys got a hold of it ....Just unbelievable, Sorry I just don't get it. was not written as a " Blue grass "song.
Ciao Luigi. So, who anointed you the Bluegrass Police? If you haven't noticed, Bluegrass draws from many (potentially all) genres! Many classic folk songs and tunes now in the "Bluegrass" repertoire predated Bill Monroe. Bill and others were sufficiently bright and talented to adopt them into, and adapt them to, BG.
The Toys *ruined* "Minuet in G" first in the 60s.... I absolutely love the classical version, the 60s version, and this is fabulous as well! Toe tapping fun!
This group is probably the most under rated bluegrass group out there today. These guys are fantastic!
Fantastic! It just doesn't get any better than this!
Certainly made me smile. Excellent.

It's actually a Bach minuette (although Christian Petzald is the actual composer. It was in a Bach journal though)
@@WillCMay I also thought to myself, "That sounds more like Minuet!"
I've always enjoyed Nothin' Fancy....this is great!

Excellent remake of The Toys' classic starting at 1:11, though I love the introductory monologue as well!
