The only complaint was the lack of a sack for the straps, which honestly isn't a problem. As all hammock campers eventually do, you're going to start packing everything together when taking down camp in order to save time packing and unpacking. Keep everything attached (that you plan on using) in a bigger double ended stuff sack. When setting up, just set up your tarp, and a groundsheet if you use one, then the hammock. Since you use a structural ridgeline, your bed is ready for laying. You keep your wets in one bag (tarp and groundsheet/windsock/underquilt protector), and the dry stuff in the other (hammock, mosquito net, underquilt/sleeping pad, sleeping bag liner, top quilt/blanket/sleeping bag, ridgeline, and sleeping garments inside it all). Personally I use a small rainfly for a groundsheet, with a small string looping between the ridgeline and it's grommets. I lay on the hammock and If I get cold (or just to warm up faster) I'll sinch up the string, pulling the fly around the UQ and hammock, essentially working as a windshield
Very nice I love one wind I have there 12 ft double layer hammock that you can put the pad in and that is a fantastic hammock I also have their under quilt and it works amazingly well
Very cool always have my eyes out for a small light sleeping setup I have a lighter than mid weight 2 man tent for me and my brother though it takes up more room than I’d like also looking for some high riding waterproof boots think I’m gonna go with the Muck boots a little pricey at around $180 but I hear good things keeps your feet warm completely water proof and comfortable getting my hunting license mostly because in Massachusetts I have to have one just to go out with friends who are hunting which is BS gonna get me a doctors letter sept 3 just before dear mating season in October so I can use my high powered crossbow with scope cause I can’t pull a bow back with my arthritis bad news for the dear and a top of the line .22 caliber pellet gun for squirrels surprisingly they taste great like dark chicken and easy to hunt. But the main game will be dear and Turkey though I still don’t have my hunting class setup they fill up before I even hear about an opening and I’m on a list for emails and a month later nothing Boo. Plus I’m waiting for the Benchmade meatcrafter in cpm154 grippy handle great sheath thin enough for fish but robust enough for any game great looking blade plus I’m still waiting for my BHK battlelore knife since February I got mine with a few different options etc so it’s a custom they say and takes longer may 10th they say it should ship for my main woods knife .The meatcrafter for the deer or whatever. The one good thing is where I live in Massachusetts it has the biggest dears population and the most legal deer kills in the whole state so that’s great.
My only big problem with One Onewind is the camouflage poncho with the big bright reflective logo on the back. It resists all attempts to Sharpie it out. Kind of defeated the purpose of the camouflage.
So far it's held up just fine. But my gear doesn't get used as regularly as I test other gear in between. However, I do gravitate to this setup the most

Just got the hammock in the mail. Hopefully get to try out by the weekend. Probably order their under quilt next
I won a onewind hammock from Blackie Thomas. Absolutely love it
Excellent presentation. Well done for all this work.
I have a lot of Onewind products including the same setup you have. I love all of their gear. Excellent video!
I'm excited to get this back out in the field...it's a great setup!

Nice! I had never heard of them prior to this video, but I am very impressed...I can't wait to try more of their gear!
Does the sleeping pad inserted in the double layer work well. I'm considering buying their 11' double layer. Thanks
Those armwarmers remind me of the Nanosuit, any idea where you got them please?
I think they were Amazon... Anything polyester or moisture wicking
Always a real-world/outdoor test/review. I am interested in the product if you are impressed by it.
This one was great! Light, compact...comfortable. This will make its way into more videos as some point...Cameo appearances anyway!

I hate large logos...
How has the hammock lasted after some years of use or do you not use it ,I’ve been looking at this for awhile myself. Thanks

Do you use your tarp ridgeline on the outside of your tarp or drape your tarp overtop of the ridgeline and pull tight!?
In this instance, he hung the tarp from the Ridgeline vs draping tarp over ridgeline.
The ridge line DOES NOT COME with the tarp!!
Really great spot here.... Then saws a tree down. Go figure
Whole top half was dead... It got burned...
@@outerlimitless that'll teach me to assume! Thanks to. Your video I now have a onewind hammock heading my way.
