After Data course completion:
1. Do 4-5 good projects (as a fresher, your projects are equivalent to your work-experience)
2. Focus more on profile building (include those project details in your resume/profile, apply to as many companies as possible, ask for referrals in linked in)

In my opinion, you should join the Data Science program offered by IIT Madras.
