Beautiful job. I'm old enough to remember when there was no Tamiya. Building a kit was a true challenge. Tamiya changed the market forever and all other kit manufacturers had to play catch-up. Good for the modeler. I'd love to see them produce more cars like Ferrari and Porsche in larger scales like they used too. I smell accountants.
That is a real stunner in yellow. I have this kit somewhere. I may do mine blue. Just to be different. Very nice build. Tamiya kits almost always come out nice.
Great build, but have couple questions, where did you get polishing sponge for dremel and why do you make metal layer before yellow paint? And what glue you use for windows and headlights?
I'll link the sponge. It's a product that I also buy and use. (sujibori-do.ocnk.net) The reason for painting silver is because the injection color is red, so if the color of the base is revealed, it will stain, so I sprayed it. Clear parts use aqueous adhesives.
just a quick question .. I encouter huge gap in front between body and chassis ... did u use glue to eliminate gap..? because it is quite risky to the paint... if u do what kind of glue..? thanks in advance..
Cool build. One thing gets me puzzled: why do You use semi gloss clear on the bodyshell before You 2K clear it? It seems a bit pointless. It looks so good in yellow.
@@Makeitscale You could spray a tack coat first with the 2k and after 2-3 wetter coats? But hey, You do what ever works for You. "If it works don't fix it".
I meant that You let it dry 10 min between coats. First You spray a tacky mist coat, then 10 min later You spray another coat. And repeat. I know how 2k clear works and that it's supposed to be used within 1 hour from mixing it.

I salute the pre-tamiya modellers. Sometimes when I make an old product, I want to throw it.
Beautiful work ! 👍
Great work, it's always nice to see a Ferrari that isn't red and the Testarossa is a beauty :)

Vers nice model, good job
這是我最喜愛其中的一輛Ferrari 跑車,希望日後還有更多其他Ferrari的作品。另外, 因我的英文不太好所以才用中文寫評論,請見諒⋯⋯😅
Great work I like the color choice 👍
Well done !
Awesome job. Can I ask why u clearcoat before adding the black on the engine cover.
Beautiful work. I built both the tamiya and monogram kits. Going to sub
Beautiful work. Why did you choose a black interior?
Excelente trabajo!!
Very good

In that part, I tend to use loctite.
@@Makeitscale will try thanks ..:)
Hi. Great work. One question. What is the size of airbrush you use and at what psi. Thanks
lacquer painting : Richpen no.3, richpen gunpiece GP-2 / 1.2psi
Urethane painting: mr hobby ps-290 / 2.2psi
When filming, the psi is high.

Since the semi-gloss clear has a rough surface, spray it so that the urethane is bonded rather than covered on the racker.
@@Makeitscale You could spray a tack coat first with the 2k and after 2-3 wetter coats? But hey, You do what ever works for You. "If it works don't fix it".
Because it is 2k urethane, it cannot be used again if excessive thinner is used. I don't recommend it.

Какой клей использовал?
