This is one of the most helpful and practical sets of steps to take in dealing with overwhelmment. I've just discovered Mark and can't get enough of his teachings.
I’ve battled mental health issues for many years, and before I became a Christian, I managed to overcome a lot through striving and sheer determination (exhausting!). I became a Christian two years ago and I felt that there was a puzzle piece missing. Since finding your videos, I’ve realised I hadn’t received God’s love. I’ve found the missing puzzle piece!! It’s hard because of my toxic upbringing - I didn’t even know I wasn’t experiencing God’s love but thanks to you, I’m on the right path now and I’m so hopeful. I have never encountered anyone who is so clear and concise about issues like these. You make so much sense to me, it’s like you’re in my head!! And I love that you can make me laugh about it all too! I’m so grateful to you for using your experience to help others. What a blessing you are! ❤

I am grateful to you for these lessons. I have always heard Christians say God changed or healed them overnight so I've struggled with why that hasn't happened to me. It is a journey and I am beginning to understand God has got me and he doesn't turn on me every time I fail.

Right on target. We see God as some kind of “magic genie” who will magically take away all our problems. Not true. God is already there and we need to learn to tune into His love, grace and nurture toward us. We have not learned to develop And connect with Him. This requires slowing down and spending time with Him. He will help us walk through the journey if we are willing to trust Him in the journey. Renewing our mind to see ourselves as God sees us is helpful to accept and appreciate His love, nuture and care for us.

This is life changing stuff! And so timely for me! I just had a total meltdown on stage last night. I forgot lyrics, lines, song cues, entrances. My brain just started going blank, total overload. It's NEVER happened. But now that I have listened to this I see all the yellow light that I blew through. Just some people speed up vs. slow down for yellow lights in real lfe. Today I'm going to see if I can find someone to talk to about all this. THANK YOU! ❤

This is so helpful, your teachings have clarified so much doubt and helped me release pressure and spinning. I love your analogy of spiritual muscles and you give practical advice and many clear examples. I'm allergic to mistakes and I often wondered why I had to live with fear and perfectionism if Jesus already paid the price.

The 2 biggest detrimental self inflicted wounds that the Church has caused to its own body, is that we should be okay with where we are, happy, grateful and satisfied and to stay away from money.....then the devil just keep you frozen and stuck in 1 place, and nobody is going anywhere. . . . and YET, the super spiritual will at some point realize they actually also need finances in order to get through life.
This is freeing, I was beginning to think how many things can an individual family and generational bloodline have and then there's such a thing as water spirits... Thats when I stopped...lol. Best way to drive yrself insane.... thankyou Lord
I WAS NOT HELPED BY MY YEARS OF TREATMENT AND THEY BLAMED ME .WGHEN IT CAME TO GETTING BETTER IT WAS SINK OR SWIM.
I GOT HELP IN MY 30’S BY SOMEONE WHO LOVED ME .HE WAS A NATUROPATH WHO HELPED ME HEAL FROM EXTREME ANXIETY THAT HAD BEEN CAUSED BY MEDICATION I HAD FOR 15 MONTHS STARTING WHEN I WAS 11.WHEN I HAD MORE ANXIETY IT WAS HARDER TO CONTROL BEHAVIOR AND I WAS SHAMED ALOT.THE CRITISM WAS NOT IN MY MIND IT WAS FROM MANY PEOPLE .
I WAS CONSTANTLY TRYING TO DEFEND MYSELF AND I BEGGED THEM TO NOTICE THE GOOD THINGS I WAS SURE I MANAGED TO DO.

I WISH YOU WOULD DO A PROGRAM ON AUTISTIC SENSORY OVERLOAD AND MELTDOWN.MOST PEOPLE CANT IMAGINE TOO MUCH NOISE BEING LIKE A PHYSICAL ASSAULT.FOR ME TOO MUCH NOISE IS A 911 MOMENT.
Then there are frustrations as is the government trying to control people and everything. I joined a few groups seeking liberty and a prayer group. I also have 3 waggy dogs! lol. In the day, was a life guard trainer (WSI), calm is VIP but you can’t calm a panicked person down, they need a safe quick rescue.

TREATMENT IN WHAT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE THE BEST MENTAL HOSPITAL.IN THE WORLD THEY HAD NO IDEA HOW TO HELP.
AFTER SEVERAL YEARS IT FELT LIKE A LIFE SENTENCE.
I am recently unemployed due to company layoff. I support myself have no other means of income so tell me how what you are saying about pause and expectation can help me? I’ve got a mortgage and bills to pay!!!! I’m angry and disappointed that the job I loved the most was taken from me because executives spent all the money with no continued revenue streams!!! I feel used!!!
