This is (as far as I know) the only concert to this date that Vince gave in the Netherlands, the recent Eagles gigs excluded.
It was a recording for one of the then few Dutch commercial stations, RTL4. I asked him about it a few years ago and he still remembered being invited to do this show by the Dutch country singer Ruud Hermans. Great to see this full recording on RUclips.
Let's hope Vince will make the journey again one day to do some more touring with his now band this side of the pond. We need more of this here!!!

Seen Vince 15 times....wife is a huge fan....seen regular concerts, Christmas shows and even an acoustic show at a ski area in July in the NY Catskill Mts. IMHO he is a way under rated guitar player. He's a humble man always ready to help new artists.
He once said that in Nashville you better be nice to your waiter at the Waffle House - he's probably a better guitar than you are!

I went to see him in the early nineties and he was so good in concert. I took the guy I had just started dating which had never been to a country concert he had a blast. He passed away about 5 years ago and I truly do miss him but I'm glad he got to see this.

It's very sad to me that Vince never released a live album; 98% of the concert videos out there were in pretty small rooms. From what I understand Vince hated being recorded live. But he absolutely amazing

I thought this was the "Live by Request" show; from approximately the same period as the "Austin City Limits" show. Both shows are fantastic because it's Vince Gill. But it's not the discovery of the Dead Sea Scrolls the way you advertise it. He played a very similar show on ACL. Fantastic!
Indeed, it was from the A&E "Live by Request" series. I've searched high and low for even a VCR original copy of this. I guess they didn't produce any such content. It's good to at least find some of it online.
