Easy kadhi pakoda recipe | Kadhi chawal

  • Welcome to our channel where we share food and travel content. Today I am here with a simple recipeof delicious kadhi. This is a recipe of U.P style Kadhi.
    Method:
    For pakoda:
    1. Mix 1/2 cup of besan with salt, kasuri methi, red chili powder and 1/4th teaspoon soda. Add some water to make a thick batter.
    2. Pour the batter in hot oil in small quantities to make pakodas
    For kadhi:
    1. Mix 2 cups of dahi with 1/2 cup of besan.
    2. Add 3-4 cups of water and mix everything nicely.
    3. Heat 2 tablespoon oil in a kadhai and add some coriander seeds, mustard seeds and methis seeds to it.
    3. Now add crushed garlic and green chili paste to it.
    4. Add 2 teaspoon hing and curry leaves.
    5. Now add the curd and besan mixture.
    6. Keep stirring it untill it comes to a boil.
    7. Once it boils add salt to taste along with 2 teaspoon Haldi.
    8. Let it boil for 15 minutes.
    9. Now add pakodas to it and boil it again for 3-4 minutes.
    10. Heat 2 tablespoon ghee in a tadka pan.
    11. Add dried red chilli to it along with kashmiri lal mirch powder.
    12. Add this tadka to the kadhi.
    13. Serve hot with rice or chapatti.
