I recently purchased Aerofly FS4's 737-900, and it's truly impressive! I work as Captain on the 737NG/MAX, I must emphasize that this simulator is remarkably underrated. Its quality is simply fantastic! WONDERFUL 🎉

Dear Laubox, this is an amazing channel, and I've managed to get quite far in aerofly FS4 by following you! One request I have would be a cold and dark tutorial for the 737-500 as well as auto-land tutorial- right now I'm flying all my landings manually and starting all flights in a 'takeoff' status. I'd love to add that much more realism to my experiences.
Still need to learn a lot flying these planes! But I hope it gives you a nice impression of the new Boeing 737 in Aerofly FS4 which is always a pleasure to boot up in VR!
I just purchased this from watching your videos ! It is really good, works so well in VR , I have a Metaquest 3 and everything looks sharp, I've got the thrustmaster captains pack controls but don't need any of these things, just use the VR hands/fingers . The graphics are not fantastic but they are a more than adequate trade off for the immersion. Subbed and liked, cheers, Daz, Leicester.

Your COURSE is set to 360 but your runway is 18. Check the runway course on the 11-1 approach plate and dial it into the COURSE window. Check that your #1 nav is tuned to the ILS freq. Just use the left autopilot. Only select both autopilots for an autoland. Everything else looked good.
In order to catch the glide slope, what I do is start to align myself with the runway then on the MCP, click “vor loc” which will line you up with the runway, after that the glide slope diamond should appear and then you can click gs. Once you catch the glideslope. The plane will start descending:)

Absolutely the future of sim flying IMO - Very tempting for me as well, I would imagine, for the many flying just using a screen monitor along with keyboard clicks this would be a game changer.
Does this format also require large amounts of time working with a PC setting everything up first, then connecting the headset to the PC -
I know nothing about this format, nor Microsoft Flight sim for that matter - I use Macs so limited options available (never started sim flying) - though follow many great channels here on RUclips. Would be nice to get back into "flying" for me - This way looks like real fun..... and closer to my - now over real world in this business. Great video!

8:20 AFAIK V1 the "decision speed" so here you can either go or cancel. At V2, you have to go, as you initially correctly say.
dont mean* to be that guy but you usually put full flaps when you land, also the approach speed should be around 130-145 ktas. still love your content!
U should enable scenery streaming in the main menu, its currently in beta right now but it works pretty well, u will have global airport and city with high definition satalite images
Arm APRCH on the autopilot to capture the glide path
To catch the glide slope you have to activate VOR/LOC on the autopilot first and shortly afterwards, when the localizer is capture you activate APP.

it could be a real alternative to " microsoft flight simulator 2020". I'm tired of having problems in VR, every time 2 hours setting, something doesn't work, wasted hours instead of playing, fixing, waiting for downloads and updates...
I love flying virtually real in fs2020 My system is 12th gen i7, rtx2080ti, Reverb G2. I can fly for ours problem free as long I powerup the G2 before launching fs2020. And under no circumstances I can use DirectX 12! Why that is I don't know... However Aerofly FS4 is also installed on my system so it's worth to take a look at it again 🙂
