Donna's featured in my last two videos but has always had a sad ending (thank you, Russell..!) so I thought it was about time she got her own video with the Doctor, showing how awesome their time together was without all that mind-wipe nonsense. And this song screamed Ten and Donna the first time I heard it so it seemed too perfect an opportunity to pass up!
While I personally see them as friends this video can be viewed as either friendship or a romantic pairing, it's completely up to the viewer ;)
Purely for fan enjoyment. I (sadly) do not own the music or the show nor do I make a profit. No copyright infringement is intended.

THIS video is a perfect example of why Martha was a bad companion for Ten...well, at least at that point in his life. He was still reeling from the loss of Rose and did not want a romantic relationship; he just wanted an honest to goodness, REAL friendship and that's what he found in Donna. Donna and Ten were PERFECT together. The right people, brought together at the right time in their lives. They both needed a best friend, and they found it in each other. To LOSE that, was absolutely heartbreaking.
+Ms.CanadaUSA Martha and Rose also let Doc get away with some things he probably shouldn't have. Donna was almost as good as Barbara (First Doc's companion) or Sarah Jane Smith at realizing a Companion's job is to tell the super-powerful Time Lord when and why to apply a freaking set of brakes before he really screws things up.
To be fair the Doctor would often lead Martha on and try and recreate the flirty persona he used on rose with Martha without ever intending to reciprocate her feelings.
Her chemistry with David Tenant was just incredible. She was a funny, fun "best friend" to the doctor. I hope they find a way for her to come back.
They did after 15 years :) unfortunately only for 3 episodes though
they literally had a piece of each other.

i love how donna is one of the only companions to not fall all over him. she was just a friend, and she was a brilliant one.
This is perfect for the Doctor and Donna's relationship! I love that he got to have a brother/sister/friend realtionship with someone.
I feel that Doctor/Donna where like the couple that are the best of friends and over years they would probably fall in love. They could have fallen love over the years of being mates but they didn't have years... did they?
I loved the friendship between the Doctor and Donna. They made such a great pair.

kaitlyn Presseault They BOTH needed a friend; a REAL friend and that's what they found in each other, then to have to LOSE that...?! It was tragic and just gut wrenchingly horrible. The Doctor called Donna his BEST FRIEND....that about broke my heart into a million pieces! This was a great video tribute!
Reminding me how much I LOVE Doctor and Donna and how much of destiny brought them together and how much they make each other whole started fm a true friendship to really loving each other and trusting each other w their life!!! Xoxooo

I really hope Donna will somehow be taken to Gallifrey because as a quasi (?) time Lord/Lady, she deserves her happy ending.

Blood hell this is wonderful. Honestly these two are my favorite duo and ironically Donna is the only companion I ship with him despite them being "just friends" (I think they protest to much and are scared of getting hurt since they both been burned before but whatever). I waver between romantically and just platonic however since even the show acknowledges them as a convoluted sort of soul mate (the whole destiny thing they had going on) I don't suppose it matters. Either way as long as they share screen time I love them, thus this video with your perfect timing, general rhythm with each scene is superb. It lifted by mood right up and got me hooked into the whole thing. Fantastic!

Donna and the Doctor were great. None of this silly romantic subplot, the Doctor and Donna were bros. And I think you managed to pick a great "romantic song" to fit with that platonic relationship.
My favorite companion! And my favorite vid of them. Best friends, brother and sister but so not a couple. I loved it.
Aw, so great to see a happy Doctor and Donna vid! Great stuff. The title is very fitting, too, because I always liked how the Doctor couldn't bring himself to get another companion after the pain of losing Donna. Of course, it changed after he regenerated, but Ten couldn't go on without his best mate.
I also love the clip where the Doctor returns from near death on the Sontaran ship, Martha hugs but Donna whacks him like a mum catching her five-year-old nearly running across the road!
They are so like brother and sister. I REALLY hope Donna comes back, I'd love to see her, hell, maybe for the 50th anniversry, that would be nice

David and Catherine had such great chemistry. And how cool to see a male and female character just being friends, without all the will-they-won't-they sexual tension you see in almost every other show! That's what I loved the most about their relationship.

david tenant the tenth doctor got into my heart and then when he leaves ( regenerates) my heart broke and fell apart and no other doctor like matt smith or the other one will ever repair it
+Bio Charge I felt the same way when David regenerated into Matt Smith I was so sad I was like why did he have to leave :( it was the sadist moment when David regenerated I was happy when I saw the day of the doctor because he was in there I really miss David as the doctor he was the best.
+Brenda Bisbiglia i assume you you meant *saddest moment, and I'm not a grammar nazi, i just wanted to inform you that your comment made me giggle like a maniac, because you put sadist, so i read the sentence as
"it was the most sadistic moment when David regenerated"
which actually kinda works and makes sense. i felt it was very sadistic, as i love DW and it ripped my heart out when David left.
(though End of Time was nowhere near as sadistic as some of the stuff Moffat's been coming up with lately..)
Raphaelle Hamato Hello Raphaelle yes I meant to say saddest you must forgive me I have a tablet it sometimes miss spells things I just think it was sad when David regenerated and when he destroyed his tardis with his regeneration I mean the look on his face when he said I don't want to go was really sad as well.

That's awesome! NICE bit at the end with the snap! Donna's been my fave new companion since she slapped the Doctor's arm after coming back from the Sontaran ship (1:58), because that's exactly what I would have done! Great vid!

@melodysymphonystar Oh not just losing her best memories, they seemed to have thrown out all the character development too and put Donna back to square one. To me it's almost like Davies didn't like the character at all! Rose fared much much better getting the Doctor Donna clone.

I looooove this =D Brilliant, and you didn't just use the same old clips that a lot of people use either - there were several I'd forgotten about until now.
I don't mean to start any conflicts, but I prefer these two as a platonic relationshp. I thought it was really nice for the Doctor to have a companion where things didn't get too complicated between them. to me they're BFFs, and sometimes that's more enjoyable to watch than a romantic couple.

@melodysymphonystar Yes, yes! I agree if Catherine Tate is willing to play Donna again. She might be busy and I can understand if she doesn't want to come back. But if she has the time they do have to take care of that whole "Brain Explody!" thing if she starts remembering her adventures with #10.

"Because we belong together" almost made me start crying because they really did belong in the TARDIS together having adventures but instead Donna lost everything...and the doctor was left alone, again.

Rose was one too much lucky girl. She had 2 series with two Doctors, Nine, and Ten. For now, Amy is staying with Eleven, but why did Donna was there only for series 4?
@melodysymphonystar Yes! another DoctorDonna supporter!! Considering that he's gone through another regeneration and she wouldn't recognize him, I'd love to see Donna in the future! I just adore Catherine Tate as an actress!
@OceanbornAngel Oh, yeah. What the HELL was Russell Davies thinking when he condamned her to a fate worse than death? Can you imagine, not being able to remember the best thing that ever happened to you? I know my life would be pointless without a breath of fresh air. Moffat is a way better writer than Davies. Even if my favorite episode (Series 5's Vincent and the Doctor) was written by Richard Curtis, I bloody love Moffat's episodes. He brings continuity and he brought us River !
