Its not so simple. The intellectual property is likely still quite valuable and the very last person some executive wants to sell the rights of an IP to is the original creator since they are the individual most capable of actually doing something to bring that IP back from the grave thus making the party that sold the IP look like a fool for letting it go when it was obviously still valuable. Also a creator alone can't just whip up a cartoon out of thin air even if he magically had the rights. He would need a dedicated team of creative talent and the services of an an animation studio aka like 5 million dollars to even get started with a shoe string budget. We live in a sad world where intellectual property is almost always removed from the hands and control of the geniuses that created it.

I would watch a new Danny Phantom series, this was my favorite when I was growing up and I would love a more adult gritty version. Dani was my favorite the whole crew was good. It would be amazing to see what happens next, or years later I would love to see Danny and Sam in a real relationship and see how the world you created has changed and grown.
Ember McLain obsessed with Danny Phantom? I have to admit I wasn't expecting that, but it would be interesting to see. I guess that means Ember would show up in Amity Park more frequently just to get Danny's attention. Ironic, isn't it? Ember has the ability to hypnotize others to become obsessed with her and turns out she's the one that becomes obsessed, with Danny nonetheless. I really like the music chart idea and hope it gets integrated in the future and perhaps mixing it up with her obsession with Danny. I think it would give Ember more variety of attacks and she would be more dangerous since she wouldn't have to rely only on her guitar.

He didn't mention the whole "ghost in a metal suit" thing with=ch makes me think he forgot plus him being that small is (excuse the pun) the core of his character that's like claiming that ember should be obsessed with being a fashion model in ten years latter and not even mention that she ever had anything to do with music.

That makes no sense to me. Why _not_ have them as ghosts of dead people? Imagine if the gang encountered a ghost of someone who served their master in life or something. The ghost can’t believe their master’s dead and won’t accept it until after a fight with Danny. It could open up more possibilities for the show and would enable it to go in a new direction.
I think in one of his podcasts he said that they made a decision to not have any actually existing dead people be ghosts, so I think that MIGHT be what he's referring to.

Rukalin, I’m not saying have ghosts of historical figures. I’m saying have ghosts that are the spirits of people who died. I mean, Desirée was explicitly stated to have died and that her spirit now goes around granting people’s wishes. That’s what I’m talking about. Maybe have a ghost like Bloody Mary (sans the blood of course) or Molly Malone from the Irish song about cockles and mussels. Or Hanako-san from the Japanese urban legend (or any ghost from a Japanese urban legend; they’d be a goldmine for material. Maybe have a multi-part episode where Danny has to go to Japan?)
I love the final Dark Danny design, very Green Goblin. I'd love to see him make a return, struggling with his mental state. the half Thermos design is pretty cool too. Also really dug the Ember one, that Danny Pantom guitar is killer. Now I'm imaging her hovering outside of Danny's window with a boom box in the air. XD

I guess that means Ember would show up in Amity Park more frequently just to get Danny's attention. Ironic, isn't it? Ember has the ability to hypnotize others to become obsessed with her and turns out she's the one that becomes obsessed, with Danny nonetheless.
I really like the music chart idea and hope it gets integrated in the future and perhaps mixing it up with her obsession with Danny. I think it would give Ember more variety of attacks and she would be more dangerous since she wouldn't have to rely only on her guitar.

I LOVE Phantom Rocker and I would absolutely root for them to get together in some way if a reboot or revival were to ever happen.

That makes no sense to me. Why _not_ have them as ghosts of dead people? Imagine if the gang encountered a ghost of someone who served their master in life or something. The ghost can’t believe their master’s dead and won’t accept it until after a fight with Danny. It could open up more possibilities for the show and would enable it to go in a new direction.
because its a kids show, and death in general is a no-no with most stations to do with kids. especially on the time slots.
I think in one of his podcasts he said that they made a decision to not have any actually existing dead people be ghosts, so I think that MIGHT be what he's referring to.

Rukalin, I’m not saying have ghosts of historical figures. I’m saying have ghosts that are the spirits of people who died. I mean, Desirée was explicitly stated to have died and that her spirit now goes around granting people’s wishes. That’s what I’m talking about.
Maybe have a ghost like Bloody Mary (sans the blood of course) or Molly Malone from the Irish song about cockles and mussels. Or Hanako-san from the Japanese urban legend (or any ghost from a Japanese urban legend; they’d be a goldmine for material. Maybe have a multi-part episode where Danny has to go to Japan?)
I love the final Dark Danny design, very Green Goblin. I'd love to see him make a return, struggling with his mental state. the half Thermos design is pretty cool too. Also really dug the Ember one, that Danny Pantom guitar is killer. Now I'm imaging her hovering outside of Danny's window with a boom box in the air. XD
