One thing that's not so good about SPC flooring is that it requires careful maintenance, such as sweeping frequently, mopping occasionally, "say" no to steam cleaning and stay away from direct heat.

Shaw > Coretec and SPC > WPC. Minimum 20 mil + aluminum oxide. Coretec SPC is a little quieter than Shaw because it uses cork padding, but cork isn't waterproof. If you're worried about noise, don't wear shoes inside, or get slippers. WPC absolutely does dent eventually. Most people are going to move something heavy at some point and dent their WPC floors. This is far less likely with SPC. Oh, Shaw did buy Coretec and Coretec is still a good product, just they're not quite as good as Shaw, imo of course, when comparing the same class of product. Of course the top line Coretec SPC is going to be better than 12 mil lower grade Shaw WPC of course. Both are better than that Lifeproof crap at Home Depot and whatever crap Lowes sells.

Better in what way? Having to add underlayment vs no underlayment for lifeproof?
Easier to install than lifeproof? Not! Wearability? You will get tired looking at lifeproof before it wears out! Less expensive than lifeproof? Give me a break! There is no reason to pay that price for what you get!
No one will ever know the difference and it will not increase the value of your home!
