A lovely surprise, finding this set of jewels waiting for me. Mendelssohn is one of my great loves, and your interpretations are beautiful. Thank you for sharing them, and for seeming so happy to do so.
Mr.Leon McCawley, SO DELIGHTFUL AND WONDERFUL AS ALWAYS, MAESTRO!!!!! Today this morning I've heard your playlist "Mendelssohn Piano Music", thank you for your all 8 great videos, this music touched my soul, I can't find the words to fully describe my feelings, my new big "like-thumb up-upvote"21 for this video, I play only two pieces from these "Six Songs Without Words Op.19" (No.2 in A Minor, Andante espressivo and No.6 in G Minor, Andante sostenuto), thank you again for your all excellent performances, as every day my best regards from Poland, have a nice weekend. Joanna
@@LeonMcCawleyPianist Thank you for letting me know. They are really beautiful! I also love your version and introduction of the Widmung piece. Thank you for sharing your amazing talent!
For No3 in A major how do you play the figuration in bar 90? F sharp to E? Do you use fingers 4 and 3 or move slightly to accommodate 3 to 2? I have been debating this for awhile now
He plays with such poise and precision with a beautiful rubato and rhythmic consistency. Thank you for winning me nearer to Mendelssohn.
Thank you very much. I love this set of Song Without Words!

I move slightly and use 3 and 2- much easier to control than 4 and 3, I think.
