If I ever made a tier list of which Mario Kart has the best music, hands down Mario Kart DS is S tier. Each track, including the Title Screen, has got a groove so irresistible I can't help but jam out! And yes, I was one of those kids who turned on Mario Kart DS for the first time & just let the game sit there. I was blown away by this incredible soundtrack!!!

Ah my childhood! I've poured so many hours into this game just grinding the missions and balloon battle. Hearing this just brings me back to simpler times. Plus bananas only was so chaotic i loved it! Bless you so much for making this.🌟
Seriously though the mission mode was AMAZING! One of the best parts of this game. And it was the first Mario Kart title to feature online racing, so I definitely poured a good chunk of my life into this in 2006 😅

It's a classic!! And yes I would agree with that, individual tracks get more remixes for sure, but it's nice to remix a title theme every once in a while!!

Oh man I miss mission mode so much. I really enjoyed having challenges to complete in kart-styled fashion. Should have had mission mode in the newer MK games!!

Dude I used to DJ weddings from 2015-2020, it was fun while it lasted but it got so repetitive I stopped enjoying it, haha.
I technically don't take requests, but I do jot down everyone who asks for something on a suggestion sheet on my computer that I may eventually get to! I'll definitely write down Seaside Town - though, I must always say I can't guarantee it'll happen!!

I never really liked DS, however the music was a high point, and you managed to capture the feel of that soundfont, as well as giving it a modern feel while still not leaving that soundfont. You did what Nintendo couldn't. Bravo

I respect that - the gameplay was a bit clunky, and if you weren't good at snaking it was impossible to win during online races, haha. But yeah man, the music in MKDS is truly next level. Glad to hear you enjoy it!! 💫
